Server Merge, Bank Transfer
Hi, sorry if this thread already exists. But I received an email about the server merge to Fey Forest, which is PvP65. I do not like PvP, so I am pretty much going to transfer all of my characters to AV.
Here's the problem I might have to face. I have a bank with 4 tabs filled with items. I am just curious. if I want to move to AV. Will the bank stuff transfer together or Do I have to put them in my character inventory and transfer?

All of your bank contents from VT, LT, and HW will be moved to a temporary bank on the new server. You will see a button at the bottom of your standard bank to access the temporary bank. The temporary bank has multiple tabs and tab pages to accommodate even a large number of bank items.
The items in the temporary bank may only be withdrawn and can't be placed back into the temporary bank. The temporary bank has no time limit, so you do not need to rush to make room in your standard bank.

Transferring Servers
The bank will NOT be transferred with your characters, they will stay with the server. You can transfer allowed items to another server by putting it in the character's inventory and pet's inventory. Items in Wardrobe will not be transferred; Your server bank slots will not be transferred, you will have only 1 bank slot if you haven't already unlocked the bank slots on AV.
Is There Anything I Should Know Before Transferring?
When transferring a character to another server, please keep the following in mind:

1. buy 3 new bank tabs on AV.
2. buy wardrobe tabs
3. if you have more than 2 characters you have to buy more character slots (how many depends on the 4 slots you get from the merger and if you can take them with you)
4. since a bank slot holds 72 items and a fully fleshed out character inventory is 104 slots you need several characters to transfer all of your items in the bank.
This depends on how many items you already have on you, and that in the bank items can stack over 100 while a lot of items only stack to 100 in your inventory.
5. if you are thinking of using mule characters do not use a reaper since it is over level 45 so it will take 24 hours before it is delete on AV
6. for the transfer you can only take 200,000 gold per character so if you got a lot of gold you want to split that up as well with the mule characters and deposit it in the bank on arrival and before you delete it.
So basically if your not a founder EME still wants you to use your credit card after the merger.
(or a lot of in game gold and someone else uses there credit card if you are lucky enough to get them for gold with the merger since there will be a rush on them once the transfer start is what I expect.)
I think what they really want is for people to stick to the new server so that it will remain healthy. The transfer off to AV is an option for people who just will not deal with PvP at all, but is not the intention of the merger (otherwise, they would not have gotten HW involved in the first place). As has been discussed in many other threads, all the main places you actually need to be to complete level 65 content at the moment are safe zones (including the entire Island of Dawn), and there's absolutely no PvP before 65. So the actual risk of people being randomly killed while trying to play is extremely minimal. Most of the people who are concerned about PvP don't actually understand how it works and are overestimating their risk of being negatively impacted. This is also why the opportunity to transfer off is a few days after the merger, so that people can have a chance to see what it's really like and evaluate whether moving off the server is really necessary and worth it.
So the primary reason for this is no different than why server transfers are paid; they want to give people an economic incentive to bloom where they're planted, and not jump ship. Even though moving to AV is an option, and the transfer itself is free during this period, it's not recommended or encouraged, and may still have a cost due to these other services. You can avoid it by sticking to FF, which is what they want most people to do.
