Question abotu stuff getting removed

Someone said that stamina is being removed and also 3/7 of the things that people pay for Elite Status are being removed with the next update or next couple of updates. However, I can't find any mention of this in the Producer Letter or anything. What is being removed?!

    About the Stamina System

Stamina will be removed with a lot of HP/MP potions, buffing potions, scrolls, panaceas and misc objects like heart potion. All players will now stay with 120 stamina benefits at all times, including increased max HP/MP as default. With this, all crafted weapons and armor are soul bound to you only, and will no longer be tradable (not including the VM equipment, which can be liberated using a liberation scroll). This removal was said in the stream to happen on the next big update after "The Guilded Update", which is going with the Sorcerer Revamp. Expect it to come around November/December at the least.
Edit: All new crafted potions will also become soulbound, and there will be 3 Tiers of each HP/MP (Obtainable by the General Merchant).

    About the Elite Status Bar

With the Stamina System being removed, there will also be a small change to the Elite Status bar, where it will remove the nostrum and trio charms for the new 7in1-Nostrum™. Nothing else will be removed.
Edit: In the KTERA Patch Notes, I was said to have 4 variations of this Nostrum. Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 are all purchasable in the General Merchant. Tier 4 is called Elite Nostrum, where it'd be only located in the elite status bar.

On another note, there is a possibility that we could have the Elite Mount become a flying mount, and the Journal saves to be increased (But this is only speculation.)
  • What's the point in having a potion that gives you everything? Might as well just include those buffs in our characters by default or just not give them to us at all.

Because, for Elite players it's a bonus of Elite. For non-Elite players, you have to buy it on a general merchant for gold instead (up to Tier 3 anyway). So it's basically sticking around to give Elite some tangible value.

    Nope.
  • Crafted items being soul bound to the person crafting it is BS. I imagine there is going to be a major overhaul of the current crafting system. There has to be. Geez, nothing like taking away another aspect of making gold. Pretty soon we'll have no way to make gold.

Potions being soul bound? OMG, give me a break! There needs to be SOME aspect of the game that we can do things for our other characters without the major stress of everything becoming soul bound.

    UGH !!!!

Elite already gives some great benefits. It doesn't need to include buffs.

If there's only going to be one consumable item that gives buffs, why bother? Everyone is going to have to use it because everyone else is using it -- so everyone is using it. Why have an item in the game that everyone has to use daily when you could just remove the item or make it permanent?

It's just silly. It's like Noctenium Infusions. Why? Everyone is using them. There's no reason not to use them.. so why are they even a thing?

you know, 90% of people are buying elite with in game gold, right?

you do know 100% of the elite bought with gold were originally bought with real money by someone else, right?

Tbh this was the question I was asking when the stamina removal system was put in place for KR Tera.

By right, this item is supposed to be one of THE gold sinks for the game. Just like how crafting items were in the past (no longer now because elite bar). Sadly the concept obviously didn't make sense for most of us who are used to multiple consumables to fit our needs.

Various consumables like how we do now with the stamina system originally made sense. Of course they removed the charms and added it into the stats when stamina system is removed. In the PvE aspect there is no complaints. In PvP though, people who want to use Reverse, Unyielding Charms to aid them can't do so anymore. That was a major reason for the backlash. It wasn't really about the elite system tbh.

of course, that's just another item you buy with emp, so I didn't get your point.

then what the heck was yours?

I personally agree with you, but I suspect at least some of the publishers think that this would lessen the value and really feel like a benefit was taken away. If it's just consolidated in light of the removal of stamina, they can justify it. As you said, having it there now is going to become one of the major gold sinks, and Elite players will be exempt from it. That's basically the angle they're using.

As someone who is personally happy about the removal of the stamina system, I'd be happy if they removed all this as well since I still find it annoying and unnecessary... but I can also see how some marketers may not feel that way.
