    That wasn't a revamp. My fault on mistranslation; it's balance tweaks as a "temporary balance fix" until they get their turn on revamp.

    Backstep, Breakaway bolt, Pursuit - Direction of movement for these skills are based on directional input instead of being fixed as opposite direction of where camera is facing

    I mean, it could definitely still be both a backstep and a multi-directional iframe, the character just may look towards the opposite direction its moving :)

    because no one is as powerful as ninja, nothing is fine is ninja does 1,5m/s and other classes do like 900k/s at best, and frankly thank god they are balancing all, i am an older tera player and like that old classes are getting there again
    1 thing i don't understand, people playing archers welcome this, and only others whine and cry who dont even play archer, so why do you even care about archer changes when you play something else???
    if they buffed warrior (and i dont play warrior and never will) i won't say why are you buffing it, i simply dont care that is not my main but i would be happy they buff it for other people who play it
    all i see in these comments is hate, saltiness, and frustration like you want only your class to be good lol

    if this buffs work on pvp, they will destroy everything in sight. and knowing bhs they WILL affect pvp. thats my only concern.

    also its kinda funny that you think archer players welcome this. ofc they would, who wouldnt welcome a buff to their class? this is not salt or hate or anything, its just peoples opinions. if you dont like them, then sorry its your problem. archers are fine, they didnt need any pvp buffs, nor pve.

    And I've been playing for 3 years and 7 months. The class design is clearly done in a way the newer classes feel more streamlined and reward the player much, much earlier than the original ones (all the free crit chance imbued in a lot of skills comes to mind).

    You're doing something very wrong.

    Even slayers, arguably the weakest dps at the moment, can hit twice that on most DSU bosses excluding Queen.
  • Yeah 900k dps is not good. I pull 1.66m average DPS on my Archer and that's only in Starfall. So I'm sure there are people doing way more. Also the biggest reason for these drastic changes to damage, is because the majority of people who play Archer on KR are horrible.

    Watching the "Top" guilds run the 30 man raids and watching all the archers fully charge PA and RA every time, casting all four hits of Final Salvo, and using Poison arrow just made me cringe. No wonder they think Archer DPS is bad and that Reapers need more I-frames....
  • I was really excited about this revamp, but tbh, I was expecting an Eagle/Sniper's eye revamp and a less ping reliant RF, this is a dissapointment as a high ping archer cause I've been playing since the beginning with it and I know how RF is making a difference on DPS atm. Sigh. Time to move on and play Dragon Nest kek.
