How often do double BG credit events come around?

I never really cared for these events in the past because my computer was [filtered] and I would get negative FPS LOL. But times have changed and I can manage quite high FPS now thanks to getting a job and saving up my moneys.
Are these events less common than before?

    To answer the question in the OP. I am not entirely sure how often. The last one I recall, with confidence, was maybe a week or 2 before they released the imperator/conflate gear patch. There may have been one some time after that, though I am not entirely confident about that.

    The x2 etc rounds do still happen, though I don't recall seeing one in the last several days, and I play a lot of FWC, in fact it is almost all I do.

    In my experience, on average every 5 matches of FWC there's a x2 or x4 reward points.

    They're removed. The "Battleground Jackpot event is active" message no longer displays.

    Power hour was needed. PVP is just a burdensome grind. The only way I'll do BGs is by grinding my points one character at a time 1 win + dailies turned in at a time each day. It'll eventually add up and be less stressful if more people would que into FWC.
