Tera for mac in the future?

I know what everyone is gonna say, "oh just bootcamp ur mac", short answer is no, i don't like windows.
I got a mac because I've always had issues with laptops running out of charge, or having an issue, etc. Also hated windows 8 SO much, and personally love the system of OS X.
I really adored and miss this game so much, I'm limited to just playing WoW now.
And no i can't just go buy a desktop pc I'm not made of money. Im just wondering if there are plans for there to be a mac client...

hmm yeah, better do it after you are done with schooling o,o

Just so sad, i really wanna play
  • You know mac uses same hardware than PCs, right?
Mac used to be a good choice when windows was a unstable system. However, after windows 7 mac is just more expensive and bad for games.
  • Most gamers don't use IoS based computers, so I guess there will never be many games that run natively on Macs. In any case the only portings BHS has talked about are the console ones. So yeah, multi boot stuff is your only current option.

    Who games on a mac?
Macs are over priced and under powered. You can build 2 gaming PCs at the cost of 1 mac book pro or air and it will be 10x more powerful than 2 macs combining. If you dont want to use windows then GG on gaming.

Use WIN10 . Why do people hate it? I have it and it works fine with tera and any other game.

You're comparing a laptop to a stationary gaming PC.

Also windows 10 is causing issues for a lot of people, and runs worse than Windows 7 did for Tera.

Even if they did port TERA to mac there'd be very little support(though you can't build a mac yourself, so I guess they only need to make it work for a handful of hardware setups?) I don't think you can dual boot on a mac, but if you can that might be the solution. I don't really get how you refuse to bootcamp, but you say you love windows 7, and was keen on selling your mac for a windows. You're not making a lot of sense.

Most people who had issues with Windows 10 didn't just get a new computer with Windows 10 on it, most cases were people who upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 and had driver issues. A clean install of Windows 10, or a new computer with all the right drivers shouldn't have any problems.

Laptop performance for Windows against Mac is pretty crazy.

You can buy a Windows laptop with high-end parts at the same price as a MacBook Pro which has mid-end parts. I actually looked up the specs for the 900m series and the windows laptop performance outshines the MacBook's by alot.

Windows 10 seems like it's working fine for those who have the decency and sense to clean install it instead of upgrading from 7. Microsoft failed to realize that and most gamers are upset about their gaming performance.

Free stuff isn't always good. It just be a rip-off. So in actuality, Windows 10 isn't a free upgrade unless you know how to clean install it for free.

"They don't sell windows 7 anymore": who in their right mind actually buys windows?

    Yarr harr matey

Those that support the ppl behind the creation of best version of Windows ever :3
  • As many have said, sell the mac and buy a high-speced windows laptop. There should be nothing a mac can do that a windows-based one cannot do.

    This.

I will admit the upgrade fault slips Microsoft's mind.
  • I want people to realise that i got a mac purely because every windows ran laptop i have owned has had the same issue & for what i need from my laptop it just wouldn't do. My mac is amazing and its my baby.
In the future i wish to build my own desktop pc because i never had issues with those, but thats very far into the future because i have more important things to focus on.
My question was pure and simple, is there any plans or talk of a Tera client for mac, not to have everyone judge the fact and my reasoning for wanting a mac laptop...
  • My main issue with Windows 10 is the built in key-logger that sends everything you type to Red Mont. After that the list mostly consists of lesser spyware built into the OS, virus vulnerability, and the usual UI issues Windows has had since W95.
