Ping firendly class (from old classes, please)
Hey!
I am seeking for advice as in terms of ping - I'm from EU and I think that may be a little of an issue.
Is there a setting I have to set so I could see my ping in Tera?
Which classes (from old ones) would you guys recommend for higher ping?
I used to main mystic but nowadays I'd love to try something different tho.

If you are going into e.g. block canceling, you -may- want to avoid zerker, lancer. However, even this goes without heavy issues.
I was thinking about trying either sorc, archer or slayer and honetly I can't decide.
I am playing ninja now but I wan an old class to go with (not to mention I happen to be ninja tank most of the times -.-)
My ping is 200+ ms and still playable.

Archer in PvP with high ping isnt as bad as some ppl would think. But you would have different rotations in PvE because of the delay you would get with Rapid Fire
Sorc in PvE with high ping is pretty decent, but you probably wont be able to use Stagger Sleep with ping higher than 150 and its one of the main things for Sorcs for small scale PvP/duels. Though it seems like it will change with the rework thanks to the new skill that replaces Magma Bomb, heard ppl can do it much faster now so we will have to wait to confirm.
Slayer is fine with high ping, but in PvP youll have some problems such as not being able to Roll into a Super Armor Skill, Stagger Locks and some Stagger -> KDs. However its not bad imo, you can still play it as well.
Just to note: Gunner isnt as good as ppl say it is for high ping, you wont be able to stagger stun in PvP so all you can do is kite. In PvE you cant use Burst Fire that well.
If you really want to try PvP, stay away from Zerker and Warrior. The problem isnt that much the block cancel as some ppl would say but for Zerker its the fact that you wont be able to do any kind of Stagger KD -without Flurry- besides Punishing->Flatten, youll also desync a lot Thunder Strikes and Staggering Strikes (also Flatten during KD locks); but its fine in PvE
With Warrior you would desync so much that its sad to watch. Fine in PvE as well.
Im not going to talk about Lancer because Lancer is the only class i didnt get to 65 so i couldnt try it out; but as far as i know its fine in PvE and "good enough" in PvP, even if they have the same problems as those above, all those utility skills can help a lot.
I was never thinking warrior or any other tank - not for me.
I used to be a healer and now I guess I just wanted to try something different.
I just have to make up my mind now on which one to go with.
I might need to decide in between sorc and archer since I already have ninja to be up close.
I am going to make it elin just in case it changes anything....
