it is good bye and farewell no rip
Even if you do Northern Arun quests, then OWPVP doesn't happen that much and if you die it's not like those players will stay in the same area after you get back, because they're doing vanguards too and if you're gathering they may ask you to change channels or you can get PK'd for slowing them down. Same goes for mobbing especially if you don't want to party up with them to make the load harder on both of y'all instead of easier.
I've outlawed people while doing Northern Arun vanguards in the past, but in all honesty I just do it if they're slowing me down or if they refuse to party up with me in a mobbing area and starts stealing mobs from me. Besides that I usually avoid PK'ing just to save myself some time and to give players a chance to party up with me if they're in a mobbing zone since I only go in mobbing zones for now.
I haven't PK'd anyone in the past month due to them helping me out with mobbing quests and I'm on a set playtime for now, so I really can't afford to PK unless it's for mobbing zones and someone refuses to party up.
How hard is to understand eme wants to merge the 3 servers with less people in them, and letting people transfer to the next server with less people, AV.
There's no discussion, there's no "they should have" or anything like that. THIS IS WHAT THEY HAD TO DO.
Also people seem to forget about changing channels? Seriously, no PvPer is dedicated enoguh to chase people in between channels.
I barely have a problem with outlaws in MT trying out the servers for a few days. People barely leave Safe Zones 80-90% of the time, so what do y'all have to worry about?
Y'all are in town all day anyway so what's the deal, even MT is barely getting problems with OW related events like the mongo event that we had.
Plz stop whining! I was afraid of the same shitt that y'all are complaining about and went to a PVE server instead but ended up going to a pvp server later on and not having a problem with outlaws at all.
Insecure, lolicons! Damn, [filtered], INSECURE HW PUSSIESS ALL OVER THE FORUMS.
The past mongo event was made in a way it favored having big raids patrolling - specially because the ones who designed it gave mongos the same spawn spots as blue boxes-, but on events like the blue boxes hunt you either PK the other farmers or you farm yourself, you can't do both, that's why there weren't big raids for those events, and even then they would have to deal with the fact that you can't kill eveyone, at some point a bunch of random guys will get in the zone and snipe the boxes while you're busy showing "who's the boss". On PvE servers you will also have the problem of many people patrolling spawn areas: in the very moment you see someone else in the same zone you can't tell if the guy just arrived of if he just finished wiping all the special mobs/boxes.
Some are upset about the merge and the way it'll be done, I get it, but some are taking things out of proportion: players from HW saying the OW maps will be horrible and you will not be able to land a foot outside safe zones are just as wrong as PvP'ers saying HW guys are just cowards.
That is how I feel it should have been done.
In any case, my biggest concern isn't about PvP, that will hardly effect me. My biggest concern is all these people over reacting. Do they even bother reading announcements and FAQs? Or is it merely that their reading comprehension is so too low, or that they can't fit all the pieces together? In either case, there are a whole bunch of retards that will be leaving the game entirely over this. EME really dropped the ball with this server merge not because the merge itself is a bad idea (it is a great idea), nor that the end result server will be bad (which it won't be), but rather how they underestimated the reaction of the player base on HW. It's really going to hurt them. I'm planning on staying on FF, but I can imagine how a huge chunk won't even continue playing the game.
it only bring drama and a net losse of players for enmasse, only ascension valley win with this merge
