Is the game terribly boring for new players?

Avatar weapons made it to where you don't have to do quests to be super geared to solo most lower dungeons. There's no... push back? You can quickly level and skip areas.
I miss the IoD for that. You had to explore. Had to go around. The Stepstone Isle is too quick and it's a straight back.
Back in the day -(P2P) to Reaper patch- they had the game actually time worthy and a little difficult as you got use to playing. These days, it's handed to you as you level.
you have to do dgs even when you pick questing method, which is stupid.
tera is overly casual now.. you used to need to be part of a static team to get vm gears, now you can get from queing -.-
and almost every mmo focuses on endgame because NEWS FLASH thats where 98% of the players are at.. no one plays a game just to level forever..you level up to cap and then the real fun begins, that is how you mmo.
I liked to explore the landscape and fight the different mods, but I really liked that I could skip frustrating areas, like those cave ones at lvl 45 to 50ish. Anyway my 2 cents
Yeah, this kid NPC looked just like Anya.
Yes. I still remember the non whinny crying all the second version of Anya.
and I wish people would meet her there.
I'm not gonna lie, making alts was too slow back then, and still not worth spending on a Lv 60/58 scroll in my opinion, but I can't say I prefer it now. Sure, you rush fast to the end game but... like said, the journey is lost, it's just like "yeah. You're already half way to the cap. Grats bud".
If the intention was to make a rushing route to make alts or a fast way to reach endgame, I think an alternative path instead of a substitutive one would be better.
I didn't even noticed the first time i saw this, lol.
...to really learn your class and get into the action-style combat. It's one of the things I love most about this game. Find a rotation of skills that works best for you & get to know your enemies (BAMs/bosses) really well. Don't be so concerned with rushing to max level. If you get there too fast, you will be clueless with being an effective end-game combatant / tank / healer.
Wow really, now that you mention, September 2016 thread huehue
People playing too much healer resurrecting too much I suppose
