  • That can't possibly be the Slayer revamp they've been talking about. Two skills got some tweeks? In comparison, the Berserker, who got some nice buffs (not seeing where it says they lost a glyph for ER). I'm especially pleased to see the TS crit buff, but am wondering how much and if it stacks.

    Absolutely disgusting. If they wanted to give archer a couple new skills, and do that Arrow buff tweak, cool. But they also get INSANE amounts of buffs on top of it. Their DPS is already top tier, the revamp just makes it ridiculous. So they have insane DPS and insane mobility with a rush skill + direction-based dodges, and a free back hit skill regardless of position.

    Meanwhile berserkers get... that thing, whatever it is (other than a middle finger).

    WOW perhaps En Masse should take over hotfixing old classes since BHS is completely incapable of understanding why these classes are no longer picked as much.

    I'm not thrilled with these zerk changes at all. You guys know that saying 2 steps forward one back? Yeah that except 4 steps back.

    Just for fun all buffs that archer since SCHM launch (from yosha):

    Class balance 1
    • Penetrating Arrow - XII has been added to learn at level 65. Base DMG: 4109.
    • Radiant Arrow - Increase base damage by 10%.
    • Penetrating & Radiant Arrow - Decrease HP consumption by half.
    • Rapid Fire - Increase base damage and MP regeneration by 50%. 300% increase.
    • PvP Attack has been slightly lowered
    • Eagle's Eye & Sniper's eye - The description where increased PvP skill damage by 4.3% has been removed.
    • Backstep - Cooldown has been reduced from 7 to 6 seconds.
    • Breakaway Bolt - Cooldown has been reduced from 20 to 10 seconds.
    • Penetrating Arrow - Only overcharging will consume Noctenium.
    • Breakaway Bolt - Added Noctenium usage to this skill to deal additional 3~8% damage.
    • Velik's Mark - Resist failing to proc on monsters has been reduced.
    • Radiant Arrow - Glyph of the Pump master glyph where it states "35% chance to increase skill damage by 100% when attacking normal monsters." will be changed to "Triples Crit Rate".
    • Sniper's Eye I - Effects changed to increase power by 30, attack speed by 4%, movement speed by 8, and boss damage by 5%.
    • Sniper's Eye II - Effects changed to increase power by 30, attack speed by 8%, movement speed by 16, and boss damage by 5%.

    • Crack Shot (Passive) A new passive skill has been added that increases the crit chance of all your skills by 15% when attacking monsters from the rear and sides only. Learned at level 60.

      The skill will now work for all Archers in the party instead of individually. [8/25]

      MP costs 188.
      25 seconds cooldown.
    • Foresight
      A new skill (name placeholder) added that gives a buff for 8 seconds where the next attack will count as hitting monsters from behind regardless of your positioning.

    • Rain of Arrows
      The first hit that lands on your target will always hit in that specific spot for the remaining hits regardless if the target or yourself are turning.

      Base damage increased around 25%. XII version increased from 3849 to 4809.
    • Radiant Arrow

    • Rapid Fire
      Gain 1 Arrow stack when landing a successful hit for the Arrow buff effect.
      Base damage increased approximately by 40%.

      AFTER: Rapid Fire IX Base DMG - 1219, 296, 296, 296, 296, 296, 1221.
      Glyph of Persistence changed from 10% to 30% chance to reset cooldown. Glyph points remain the same and it's still a common glyph.
    • Arrow
      You still continue to receive 1 Arrow stack per successful hit.
      When receive 10 arrow stacks, you'll get a buff for a full 10 seconds to increase charging speed of any charging skills. (does not state how much speed)
    • Thunderbolt
      Base damage increased around 100%. I version increased from 5355 to 10711.
      2 Noctenium Infusions will be consumed. Damage increase between 9~13%.
      New visuals added.
      Glyph of Carving added to increase crit chance by two. Uncommon master glyph - 4 points.
      Glyph of Carving added to increase crit chance by three. Rare master glyph - 3 points.
    • Explosion Trap
      Base damage increased around 20%. II version increased from 3190 to 3828.

      It has become a two-part skill. Shoot an arrow up to 22m and press the same skill again to explode that deals AoE damage and slows monsters movement speed for 3 seconds by 90% (for PvP cuts speeds by half)

      Casting time has been reduced.
      Cooldown increased from 15 to 20 seconds.
      MP cost changed from 250 to 380.

    They also had a range penalty that would actually decrease their damage by a ton if they were at their max range, which was absolute nonsense.

    Thier stances used to give a buff, but also decrease a different stat like movement speed or attack speed.

    They only had one iframe for a long time. Their glyphs were underwhelming and some weren't even labeled right if I remember correctly.

    Class changes was never about how bad the class was but how bad the players were.

    Please. It's more than that.

    You honestly can't tell me that some classes haven't been buffed simply because of how far behind they fell behind other classes. Sorc's are a great example of that. They are simply too hard to be efficient with, where as a ninja or gunner or most other classes you can faceroll.

    Brawlers can pump out massive dps but warriors can't keep up with that. There is no skill in the world that will make a warrior tank put out the same dps as a brawler tank, hence why something like a warrior tank revamp/buff is needed

    So I was cleared MCHM back in November of 2012, well before most people... and I can say that any time I ran into an archer those first few months it was a nightmare.

    "Okay stand is happening, I'm one... I think I'll PEN ARROW INTO TWO"

    So many archers did that... I certainly cleared it with archers... just a lot of archers when trying to learn it made simple mistakes. But yeah it was also Velik's mark not working, same reason warriors were screwed.
  • Any word as to have the Flurry of Blows merger will effect Fiery Rage while in D-stance? That ability is modal. Will only one mode get the speed buff? Because that would suck.
