Server Merge

Hi guys. I'm fairly new. I only have made two characters so the server merge isn't affecting me in any way (yet?). However I'm contemplating if I should stay on FF or start moving to AV. I logged on my main on FF and yes it's lively on global. I've also made a new character on AV just to see how it's like there and I see mostly trade and very little to almost none global chat or LFG all the while I was online. I'm more concerned about the end game. I wouldn't want to be in a server where it gets difficult to look for raid / dungeon parties in a day. FF feels more laggy too compared to AV.
It's hard to answer your question conclusively because it isn't clear yet how things will shake up after this weekend. I tend to think that that FF has a good chance of building and retaining an end-game community as a result of all this. But still, the "safer" answer if end-game is your absolute top priority would probably be TR or MT. The hope is that it will be better-distributed at the end of all this.

(And yeah, it also partly depends on the date and your timezone.)

This weekend will show us the bulk of the results from the server merge.

I am expecting something like this:

60% of the casual Highwatch players leaving for AV. (I am personally moving some stuff to AV to fund my characters there)

Most of the endgame Highwatch players staying for FF, with some moving to cater for the casuals

PvP players will always be indecisive and move in and out of FF.
