Hi everone,

  • Teras population is fine. I mean no one but EME actually knows the numbers but on TR you can find dungeons to do and people to play with throughout most of the day.

They just merged three servers so FF, MT, AV, and TR should all be healthy enough to enjoy your time in.

This is the back end of the patch time however, and because of that a lot of players are sitting on their stuff for next patch. I'm sure we'll see another boom of old and new coming for when the new dungeons release as we always do.
  • What server has the biggest population ever? Actually.
  • In all honesty, it's not as alive as it use to be. Three servers were just barely clinging on until they intervened and merged them. I've tried Fey Forest, it's losing a lot people, because it's a pvp server so people are transferring to AV.

Also note, the danger of server merges is the economy. MT has the most stable economy, prices are generally much lower. The more people there are in a server, the more awesome the economy is. If you play FF expect less variety on items, less people are contributing to the economy which means everything will be higher.

But to answer your question, yes this last patch has lost of a ton of players because their isn't really anything to do. Every update tera seems to get a lot of players back so we just have to wait for the next update

Before AV transfer opened FF has the largest population of ANY server. I doubt that you can expect a smaller variety of items on FF even after all the AV transfers they should still have a healthy population.

why do people keep saying this

    it's not true

The term "dead" means the chat doesn't move at all or maybe in an hour 1 person will say something, or towns are completely empty, or have a few people in them. The people who complain about dead don't know what dead means.
  • NHN somewhat ruined Ktera. Now, Nexon is joined with BHS. Nexon will ask to buy more cash item from the players. But, also, Nexon will force BHS for developing better game contents and system.

In Ktera, after Nexon became the publisher, Ktera's online game ranking went up to 10th~15th from like 20~22th.

Black desert > Tera > Blade and Soul > Archeage > Vindictus

For an answer, in my opinion Tera isn't dead. I still see plenty of places with channel 1 marked Medium or High and a bunch of people running around doing stuff. It may not have the numbers other AAA mmos like WoW has, but Tera is far from dead. I've been on dead games, where you can run miles upon miles and only see monsters and NPCs. No players. And all chats are empty. Those are dead games.

Because EME said that would be the case by the numbers, and anecdotally it appeared to be true on the first day of the merger (because a lot of people showed up). After the first day things calmed down a bit and now after the weekend some people will leave, so we should have a better sense of the actual numbers by early next week.

less alive than ktera and jtera and more alive than gameforge and soviet tera
  • Honestly, population is always decreasing. So if you thought it was dead before, it's the same now.
  • Tera is still alive and wont be "dead" anytime soon for a game to be dead there would have to be less player login every day the chat quiet im talking about all and only see couple people not alot like there is right now. It do get tired when people ask this.
