Question about Tera after merge

Anyone is experiencing the following things after merge?

*Increased the use or RAM
*Increased the use of CPU
*Ping spikes in cities and dungeons. Also desync more often
*Game crash with launcher error
*Shutdown of computer due to the previous things. (?)

    For my computer:
Around 250mbs more than average of RAM is being used.
77% from average 51% (Potato CPU)
Ping is average 135ms~170ms on FF. MT/CH/TR are around 50ms~70ms and AV are around 80ms~100ms.
    Game doesn't crash for me.
Your computer shutdown when running TERA is mostly likely caused by it not having the ability to halt operations to prevent system error, so when your CPU goes out of it's way to work TERA instead of Windows OS, it will crash the computer.

After the merge I've had increased ping on FF, at times almost double what I usually get. Also more frequent major stutter problems in BGs and dungeons, likely related to skill desync.
  • After the merge my ping has remained relatively the same (57-80 ms). Occasionally I've experienced >800ms ping, but I'm chalking it up to my ISP and their somewhat recent merger.

I did rubberband noticeably once in MM though.
  • I have had no additionally performance issues on FF as compared to HW. I don't know if it is more taxing and my system is simply handling it well, though. I have 16GB of low latency DDR3-1866 ram in a quad channel configuration (this is better than DDR4-3200 in dual channel) and an i7-extreme CPU, but the extra cores I have are just extra toasters when it comes to gaming (great for compiling, not so great for gaming). My GPU is...lackluster at best. It's an nVidia 570. Thing is six years old.

It could be that the increased server population is increasing the RAM and CPU demand. That sounds reasonable to me at leat.

As for ping. My ping, when it isn't being tossed into the gutter by Comcast's interminable bull [filtered], is a rock solid 66ms. Since I move to my current house my Tera ping hasn't deviated from that by more than 2ms...unless Comcast shits itself in which case it can be anything up to and including a complete disconnect.
