Yes there are many sources for the info on buffed gear. Best way is to check Yosha's Blog, or you can google it. I believe there is also information in EME Forums about the buffed gear and so forth.

Imperator is still pricey, because, A) Its will be still the 2nd best gear in game when the new patch comes out, only losing to Vm8, and of course, I dont expect to see any players with full VM8+15 in the first weeks or so.

DSL will get removed, so forget about getting gear there when patch hits. You can however expect they add VM7 materials to Battleground Shop, just like they did with SF. So, having said all this. If you still want to get VM gear to run the next patch, you can be patient, and wait for that. Otherwise, Slaughter is enough to grind your way towards VM8 by getting Lilith Gear first (aka Slaughter 2.0)

Some classes go for even as low as 100k + Your liberation scroll. E.g, Reaper, Brawler.

    Gloves, Boots like 70k+. Depends.

Bear in mind, that most players, kept SF all through this patch, skipping Imperator, just to go for VM8 after. I assume, getting SF now is just a waste of time for most players. Specially considering that when Slaughter gets buffed with the new patch, might be a better choice. Similar to the transition that Lucid gear suffered towards Dreadnaught Gear.

Is there a source for this?

Im considering getting SF+15 weap and belt to change for my slaughter because it's so cheap.

thanks. im in full slaughter atm and I think i'll just look up the vm7 mats and grind it till the patch hits and finish it through bg merchant.
the only part im reluctant on doing is making it +15. that could be rng [filtered], or not ..

Best way to prepare for this, is to cap Bellicarium and Killing spree credits on ALL your characters. Remember the more characters you have, the faster you will get there. They did this with Starfall gear, by adding all the mats to the battleground shop like 4-5 weeks before the Imperator patch hit us. Which was enough to gear your character.

Think about this carefully, because those credits, are also used, for the new accessories set. So you might end up having a dilemma in which to get VM7 via BG or get the accessories (PvP version)

buying something thats slightly better is not worth imo, maybe if you are a lancer then get a chest
also vm7 is pretty [filtered] easy to get and it wont be obsolete next patch which is coming soon

    define 'easy"?
ive seen imp =15 weapons selling for 700k still, that's pricey

its pricey because A-cost of recipie B-time taken to farm amts C-must be +15 to trade D-costs 30k(lib scroll) just to trade.. from a sellers standpoint you basically spend anywhere from 200k-400k+ (actual cost of crafting can vary greatly based on which piece, if you had to purchase recipe, and your enchanting luck of course) just to get the item and make it tradable, not to mention most sellers will put on etchings, 3% mw and ideal stat rolls which can use quite a bit of spellbind/mes and either a [filtered] ton of gold or mats (sometimes both) depending on the etch... and then you have to make SOME profit.. so buying imp IS pricey as it rightfully should be..

But getting imp on your own isnt that bad.. i just completed my imp set on ninja, only took about 2-3weeks of farming mats, i didnt keep track really but all in all i maybe spent around 800k on it.. keep in mind thats with me buying: about 50% of the runes of secret and colluva ingots, the recipies, alk/feed/spellbind, PLUS i bought quite a few factory cabinet/imp treasure boxes at some points cuz i was impatient to get the last mats i needed for whichever piece i was working on xD

TBH tho SF will be obsolete soon, and imp will get buffed, so if you gonna spend money on gear instead of farming for it then atleast get the gears that are gonna last more than a couple months..
  • sure /w me when the servers are back up
    weedz is my ign
  • Tirani is spot on. Imperator will and can be used through the whole next patch. So it has probably a 7-8 month lifespan.

at +13 its already equivalent to sf AND you can resell it after if that makes a diff to you...
also if enchanting is an issue, just stick with slaughter
    Casuals..

Im no casual m8, but im not rich ethier, i make decisions based on a short amount of gold compared to some, so i can't just "easily" make vm7.

if your in MT i could take u to sshm to get your belt :)

    Hello, can i join.
  • sure why not :)
  • id love to get an imp wep but id love to also get gloves to max out my dps if i can.
im sure there will be other ways outside of bg to get the new accessories.
crystal boxes..they won't become obsolete will they next patch?
  • yeah get those vm gloves, crystal boxes will remain the same

I Would not recommend Buying Starfall +15 Gear! It will be Useless coming next next patch. Very likely lilith gear will rape it. lol

Will most likely be useless for HM stuff. But NM stuff will still be fair game for SF +15 next patch and if NM dungeons can give enough mats to farm for VM8, then they can skip Imperator. I assume that on next patch, a +15 SF weapon can still match more or less a +12 mid tier weapon. If not through raw stats, through extra rolls. Though I'm still assuming as I don't have a base, but if anyone out there has a +15 Lucid, how does it rank up today against a +12 Slaughter?
