I feel like if EME banned people for it, they'd be banning half their player base, since a lot of people have been in Baldera and a lot of people have it saved as well.
Not gonna happen (in my opinion). EME wont ban people backdated. Also Baldera is more or less empty (except for some trees and stones).

As far as i heard, WoW had some testing area in the sealed areas as well as a rumored GM island (this is something I dont believe). I dont even think BHS cut off Baldera intentionally.

Not sure if i am allowed to say it, but since someone told me in game once that going to Baldera was being punished with bans, i spoke directly with a GM about the case. He told me that there were no cases about people being banned just for going to Baldera, just that the area was incomplete and not accessible by normal means, and required glitching/exploiting the game terrain to enter and that only a few users got moderated in the FORUMS for explaining how to do it, much like the guy who posted a video of himself actually glitching the game terrain in the old Kumasylum a year ago.

I really do hope that EME do not do the same that Blizzard did with the baning of players for going outside of the path, it is plain and simple, a dumb move to just punish players for exploring. Heck we dont even need to glitch to explore.

if its fun or lets you make a decent amount of gold, eme /bhs will certainly stop it. we cant be having any of that. that was the whole appeal of the flying mounts in the first place. we were expecting to be able to explore more areas and get to and on top of places we couldn't before. the flying ceiling is so low. I used to love going to baldera with my guildies and playing hide and seek lol. oh well, it is what it is. im just curious to know when the ch and av merges will happen. that's when you will see some mad people. or when they force the whole level 65 pvp on ch and av lol.

Why would they force PvP on CH or AV when neither are PvP servers? The only reason why FF is PvP65 is because it was formed from merging PvE and PvP servers.

They also likely closed off Baldera because it was undeveloped and not entirely tested. Players poking around in such an area can cause detrimental effects to occur, for example poor server resource usage (resulting in server lag or crashing the server), or even making a character inaccessible (which now costs time and money for a GM to restore that character).

I was joking about the av/ch merger thing and pvping. they have merged other servers before, and vot, lot, and hw now due to from what I understand is population being low. sorry for any misunderstanding
  • baldera did have many glitches in the area and people had to send tickets to get unstuck. the thing about it for me I guess was that you felt like it was your personal area and city when you were there. kinda like player housing.
