  • I won't quote everyone because some make me laugh and others make me think~ (not bad things)
I'm not very active on TR atm because I'm going to create a Warrior on AV.

Yeah, It's really impossible to avoid the toxic. idk how much time I'm playing online games, but only TERA showered me with "salt".
Anyway, I guess I just wanted to vent. :3too much time holding those things

  • find friends that want to do the same content as you and go to ground. find a bunker amidst this war-torn wasteland and build a life there
  • There's always someone who has to tell you you're wrong just for the sake of arguing - even if they sort of agree with you. There are a lot of people who desire attention and interaction even if it's negative. We all cope with this in different ways.

In my experience, the more action oriented the game, the more rude the community. Have you ever been in the Vindictus forums??? That is the most action oriented game I know of, and that community is the WORST! Just don't take it personally. No one likes to die or take damage, and with all the adrenaline and testosterone flowing, you're sure to get crazy insults in the flow of passion. Just scream and bash your keyboard into smitherines, and all will be good.
  • *Note. I've flattened quite a number of body pillows..... :open_mouth:

Sometimes I hear someone talking about Vindictus or Neverwinter forums... I already played both, but my computer don't liked :expressionless:
talking about "more action game" I remember about FPS games, lucky me I don't like these

Someone recently tried to ddos me pretending to be someone i knew because ingame because I pist them off ingame. Again pick carefully think smartly and make decisions that compromise your irl security. Ot account. Bur at the same time try to enjoy the game.

They obviously have no idea how a DDOS works. DDOSing someone's home PC is about the most useless thing you can ever do, since they can resolve it with a 5 minute phone call to their ISP to switch their IP address. You DDOS targets that cannot change IP address, like websites and servers.
  • Kind of off-topic but you could theoretically have a dynamic ip behind a host for websites. Just don't think for gaming.

A ddos can be done multiple ways Through Skype, or some other application.

This is a very good point. As for skype it's insanely easy to lift your ip and all they need to know is your username and for you to be online. Don't have to be friends with you or anything. Be careful who you give your skype info to.

A ddos can be done multiple ways Through Skype, or some other application. Or just finding your IP through things like teamspeak and so on. the term for it is denial of service attack and when done can shut your internet off and cause significant damage While down the person whoever forming the attack .

having either used a Trojan virus or by figuring out your IP area and bombarding your bandwidth with trash to overload it causing huge glaring issues of latentcy and eventually the shut down of your network. can use this to find your IP address irl info name and where you live. It's is supposed to be illgeal but that doesnt stop people from doing so. Which is why you must have caution your IP address whenever you enter into a.

teamspeak is hidden but can be found easily and if someone really wanted to or was spiteful enough to they could attempt to do this act. All the reason to be careful when dealing with people in this game as there are some really disturbed and twisted human beings.

It's just too bad most people using the internet have dynamic IP addresses, making it extremely easy to shutdown a DDOS attack by simply getting your IP address reset by your ISP. The attack then falls on an IP address that no one is using.
