Best Tank Option - Other than Brawler
Ok, so I've been tanking on my Brawler for a bit now and got it down fairly well now. Honestly, it's probably the easiest tanking experience I've ever played...
Anyways, as much as I try to ignore it, I simple hate how the Brawler's armor looks so much that I almost don't want to play the class. I've heard that Lancer's aren't in the best of spots right now so I was wondering, is a Beserker a viable tank option? Can you please explain why or why not?

Go with Warrior!
I thought about it but I'm not sure I'm a decent enough player to master a warrior. Although, I hear they are amazing in PvP.
If you want to tank and provide the highest amount of benefits to your party, go Lancer. If you want to see quick, high numbers on your own DPS, go Brawler. If you did have to decide between Berserker/Warrior, then Warrior would still win over Bers, because at least Warriors have Infuriate.
Between zerk, warrior or lancer, lancer is the obvious choice to go with because the party buffs and endurance debuffs it provides while having a great potential to do decent to high dps depending on the team/situation. Zerks and warriors are good at tanking as well but they are not preferred as main tanks since brawlers and lancers are always preferred now. One reason is because one lacks an infuriate skill while the other has lower dps when in tanking stance respectively. Also keep in mind lancer play depends on ping and if it's too high, then it may be very difficult.
So my best suggestion would be to try and come to terms with your brawler's appearance and keep with that class. As armor goes, FC shop's ornamental hauberk doesn't look THAT bad in my opinion.
So, BHS had to buff pure tank class, Lancer.
Both Lancer and Brawler are pretty good in dps. Actually, they are top solo class for clearing high tier IOD BAM.
Zerker and War tank can't even match against lancer and brawler in dps. In 5 men dungeon, lancer and brawler normally do 15~30% of total dps.
Zerker and War tank can't do that much dps.
1. Zerker tank doesn't have infuritate skill. But, Zerker tank's holding agro ability is best among all tank class.
2. War tank's agro is just terrible compare with another tank. BHS didn't even bother to adjust War tank after Brawler came out. I used to play War tank before. It's more fun than playing Brawler.
-Anyway, the point is, War/ Zerker tank team takes longer time to finish the dungeon. I think, Zerker tank is fine except SSHM and DSU.
