Lancer PVP Combos/Guide
I recently got my lancer to 65 and got some decent gear rolled with lots of atkspd. I've seen lots of other lancers pull off amazing combos that are very very long, by chaining, filler, second chain, filler, stuns, etc, and then always finishing the long long long combo with wallop, but I can't seem to figure out what they're doing, or find any decent lancer pvp guide anywhere. All of the ones I've found are incomplete/missing combos page or from like 2010 and aren't very in depth at all.

Any legit lancer knows this class broken for PVP and has a high skill cap only if you decide to play legit.
Also lancers are not hot in PVP anymore since gg Reaper/Gunner (launch)/ Brawler (launch)/ Ninja etc.
Over years they made too many classes that [filtered] all over lancers in group pvp and more importantly 3s.
Moreover, its easier to reach pro status with the above classes while Lancer will require months of practice.
In group PVP and 3s you were always support never the main damage dealer and your primary job was to put pressure on the healer.
Presently, even moreso since your damage is now [filtered] due to everyone having double the HP, but your damage still remained the same. Fortunately, you can 100-20 most cloth users and still do enough damage to be considered a threat vs non cloth
When chain leash off CD cheese, stack stuns, stagger spam, no wallop etc.
For the most part, you didn't really do "combos" per say except spam staggers, spring attack, and the occasional shield barrage that staggers 100% on second hit. Plenty lances macro that crap too to be considered "OP" and true mastery of skating are the tools you need to be an OP lancer. Obviously the main culprit as to why you see a lack of Lancers that PVP is because you must have low ping to stagger spam which is critical to the class if not want to be considered scrub.
You then must balance that ability and be aware of animation locks, duration of stuns, cc, staggers, combine em, etc.
Combo attack skip (stagger spam)-> Shield Barrage (preferably skip version)-> Shield Bash (back crit stagger cd wait) > Spring attack-> Debilitate >Wallop-> Lockdown blow> stagger spam
Least that's what it was back in the day.
I've seen a lancer do the following in duels currently:
Leash > auto attack > block > auto attack > block > Leash > auto attack > block > debilitate > spring attack > Wallop > auto attack >block
If you haven't noticed by now when I mention auto attack block I mean stagger spam. As for those long combos in group PVP, well they don't work out well and your job is to apply pressure on healers and combo after chain leash. Moreover if you haven't picked up on it yet Lancer PVP requires toooooo much work and more importantly, mastery of glitches to be considered good. Half the [filtered] I mentioned apparently is still doable in game and BHS has not fixed it yet. Will not fix it. At high lvls, someone who macros + knows all the exploits, Lancer is a beast. At best though, I doubt most ppl who play Tera have the ping, reflexes or patience to do all of these glitches/ combos without macro. Few sure, but at one point back in the day nearly every other Lancer was macroing like nobodies biznus. Here is a guide that shows how to do all the exploits and actually breaks em down for you. If you get frustrated after trying to do a proper skate, Shield barrage skip, or a "proper block" that doesn't use resolve then you'll see why this broken class not popular. I believe at one popint Lancers had a instant mana regen glitch trolol albeit think EME fixed that one. You probably can still macro retaliate in same manner.
If you serious bout lancer I'd say [filtered] legit go macro its just a game. If not then start with the basics and don't attempt the high lvl stuff yet.
Game thinks playing a Lancer should be like Street Fighter.

Basic combo- Shield barrage - wait for stagger to JUST wear off to re-stagger. (note- if you're not comfortable with double staggering you can skip the second stagger by block cancelling.) Shield barrage - wait - shield barrage - block cancel - Shield bash. At this point, you can either debilitate first or after the spring attacks. If you're going for debilitate after, then make sure to get only a few ticks of spring attack (~3). Then wallop. After wallop, you can auto attack, and then lockdown blow. To reiterate-
Shield Barrage - wait - Shield barrage - block cancel - shield bash - spring attack - block cancel - debilitate - wallop - block cancel - lockdown blow.
More advanced lancer combos require leash and master leash. You basically extend the length of your normal combo with leashes.
Shield barrage - wait - shield barrage - block cancel - shield bash - spring attack - block cancel - debilitate - leash - block cancel - shield barrage x2 - block cancel - master leash - block cancel - debilitate - wallop - block cancel - lockdown blow.
If you're quick enough and know how, you can sometimes leash your opponent after you knock them down and get a free stun. This only happens if you leash them as soon as they retaliate. This is most cases with lancer because no one wants to get hit with lockdown blow. So if you wallop them, and then instantly leash them, sometimes you can stun them again, and perhaps extend the length of your combo.
My personal favorite combo-
Shield barrage - wait - shield barrage - block cancel - shield bash - spring attack - block cancel - debilitate - leash - block cancel - shield barrage x2 - block cancel - master leash - block cancel - debilitate (if you have time to get a few ticks of spring attack, do it.) Either giga leash before or after wallop - lockdown blow. Sometimes, I can land the giga after I kd for another stun, which could be better than just using giga for a free few seconds of stun to land wallop.
If you have any more questions, just let me know and i'll be glad to help.
regardless what any troll supporter says.
if some1 cries about u macro could possibly get banned. Rarely enforced however and at one point nearly every lancer that ranked in 3s abused above. A lancer w/o macro is like a fish without water. You can't risk not skating you need to guarantee that you will skate 100% time when you need too. Might not get flack for it now due to other easier classes like reaper/ Ninja dominating PVP but yeah u nvr know.
Some1 might qq on forum too much and EE might actually feel like playing police for once.
Many ppl got banned or temporarily banned for macro MES scrolls which imo is there fault.
Taking 500+ MES scrolls to MW anything is ridiculous.
When u see some1 that teabags in Tera u know the cheat and macro.
So yes plenty ppl do it, abuse it, dont get banned, existed in game since 2012 actually.
I digress you never know.....
certain times wen its more beneficial to use the glitch version of sb instead of the legit version.
as shown in vid above. He was sure that he would get the kill.
or
shield barrage > chain stagger 2nd barrage > [shield bash > debil > spring (block) > lockdown blow (block) > leash > 2x barrage > master leash > debil > spring (3 ticks then block) > wallop]
In a duel, you can initiate the first stun with giga and charging lunge to the back, no matter how far away you are and start from the bracketed combo above.
You can do basically anything to lead into the bash and start the combo from there.
You need approx 30 atk speed to do this. With arush you can do full springs where I state you have to block early.
The combos typed out by the user above is outdated. For example, before we had to bash > spring (block) > debil > wallop because debilitate didn't chain with spring attack yet, but now it does. You can also see the inefficiency in the combos where they do shield bash > spring > debil , then immediately restun. You can fit a full skill, like lockdown blow or a couple of autos, if you just chain debil spring.
Things to note for each stun:
Bash: You can fit 1 auto, 2 barrage, spring, wallop
or debil, spring, 1 filler skill, restun/wallop
Leash/Master Leash: You can fit in 1 full auto, 2x barrage then restun/wallop
or half an auto, lockdown blow, then restun/wallop
or debil, 2 ticks of spring, restun/wallop
Giga: You can fit in 2x barrage then restun/wallop
or 1 full charging lunge (19 meters), then restun/wallop
or lockdown blow, then restun/wallop
You can also get creative and learn the timings to stagger at the end of stuns but that's going a bit too far, you can experiment yourself how much you can fit in for maximum efficiency.
