Rip DSU
So... with the removal of DSU (the only PvE content "worth" doing), and with no crusades... What are PvE players planing on doing till next patch? Personally i think ill be focusing on getting a Slaying clear on SSHM (never tried tbh) or just learn diferent roles...

You said that Crusade was motivation to run stuff, let's not forget that usually crusade was about the same dungeons over and over again. Guild Missions will be, in my opinion, motivation as well. Do quests, get guild lvl, get funds, use them to get f.e. rewards for guild events.
Just be creative, don't think you'll have everything served to you.
I have 8 65 toons (not much I know). On most of them I'm getting only weekly bonus although all were created with some goal in my mind (mostly to be able to go on learning runs). I'm playing ~12h per day (with breaks), less when my university year starts (then it depends on my schelude), and all I do is events, IoD BAMs on my Brawler, T1 IoD BAMs on my Reaper and dungeons (mostly on my Priest) with friends and I'm not complaining about boredom.
Ultimately no shame in playing other games or doing something else if you don't know what to do anymore, til content comes.
Some people might find enjoyment in playing broker or grinding dailies. I know I don't, the only content I ever liked to grind was dungeons but I find the loot pretty lacking everywhere and no real incentive other than friends. And my friends are bored out of their minds too.
Don't forget about players, who hate PvP, I left every MMO which I played cause of PvP and I don't want to leave next because of that.
My plan was to do dsu more often but was surprised it's getting removed now. But my long time goal, which was to clear dsu on my lancer one day, happened to me about a month ago and I'm happy that I was able to fulfill that goal. My only problem was time or not getting decent parties for dsu at times but overall it was great experience the first time cleared. It is true though, after clearing a dsu, you realize that other dungeons are not very hard and not as much effort.
Basically what I meant goes more along the lines of, keep the pve content as it is (and add stuff whenever the power creep commands to), but add more pvp and make it the center of attention. Gaming in general has more people wanting to play against other people than those who want to pve. This has been the norm of gaming since it was pretty much invented.
For most people, killing mobs by one self is a nice thing to do in off time. Killing mobs with a group is kinda fun, but killing other players is pretty much their holy grail of gaming. As such, games that stay pve for too long tend to die because people find them boring. Artificial intelligence hasn't advanced enough in gaming to make it challenging to skilled players so always a pattern is found and exploited. In contrast, players can adapt and change when playing against other players. I think that sense of surprise and unknown is what drives most players into the pvp realm.
All in all, Tera would have more people, and they would be able to not get so bored, if there was much more pvp around. Yes, it does also bring more toxic into the mix, but those are things we have to deal with if we want a more active game.
