Power gloves for healer

So, hello, let me say that I'm stupid af, cause I've just masterworked and +12 the slaughter gloves with power stats for my healer. And have just noticed this. So am I doomed? Are this very much weaker than with healing stats? Cause I don't have FOD and money for another slaughter peace and just want to know am I [email protected] up really bad or I can live with this till the Lilith set?

No you not. There isn't any healing gloves this patch. There isn't healing jewellery for healers as well. Yes you lose 4.5% of healing with SL / IMP gloves. Because... reason
  • As the user above said, you're gonna have to live with it...even after Lilith set because no healing or aggro gloves are available anymore.

There are no healer gloves anymore. The healing stats from the gloves went into the weapon so your slaughter weapon has the healing stats of Weapon + Gloves. The best thing to have done would have been to use Slaughter weapon/chest/boots with dread gloves for the most "healing" but slaughter gloves have more defense and come next patch it won't be worth it to hold onto healer gloves. Basically your gloves are fine now and you didn't really screw yourself over you just didn't go for the most optimal use of your feedstock (aka not going slaughter gloves at all)
  • DPS glove is good for mobs in sshm. That's a + point i guess
  • OMG, thanks a lot guys! I assumed that there are two kind of gloves as with Dread. Phew =)

nah, they're just making healing stats more available from other equips rather than gloves

it also saves them having to create healer/aggro gloves to save effort, just like race locked classes

Yea but it also reduces gear drops that nobody can use. Like you said they moved the bonuses to other equipment. BHS got this one right for once.

Please check healing lines on DN/SF vs SL/IMP ones then we talk.

i don't play healers anymore so i'm not gonna bother looking for comparisons, but they're adding heal rolls to rings in the next gear patch. similar to hydread settings, but now you can have them with the extra crit or whatever

They're adding flat healing modifier numbers to jewelry.

That's not at all the same as 9% overall healing. The healing modifier changes very little...hence why no one has been using newer rings since Hyderad, as they all gave flat healing modifier as the base roll, which was useless compared to a %.

I don't mind them removing healing from gloves since they've massively buffed the healing you get from weapons, but they're just screwing healers over with jewelry patch after patch.

Slaughter does have some heal bonus stats....and I've tested over and over and over...those heal bonus stats mean nothing..Slaughter set will always have higher heals than dread...and slaughter staff has higher heals than +15 SF with healing rolls...which I in turn made a dope DPS weapon for my priest from the dissappointment.

Thanks for testing that out. When I got my mystic up to 65 I went to pure slaughter gear with pinnance jewelry, and someone told me the heal rolls on SF and I was like it was necessary to get, but only boomerang pulse is impacted by healing stat as a mystic. Where as on my priest everything is. Taking her old +12 Steadfast and comparing it to Ishara's avatar T4 60 staff at +9, there is a difference in heals but its like only 10k or what amounts to maybe 15% of a level 61's bar...

However in dungeon runs I don't usually have trouble healing anyone while in Slaughter gear, but I wasn't sure if it was necessary to get +15 SF scepter to make my mystic better.

You just need enough to do your job, some people honestly go overboard with increasing healing stats. You'll generally end up healing someone twice regardless. Just focus more on extra defense for when you mess up to avoid dying if the attacks aren't an outright one shot and then spend any extra resources saved for future content, cosmetics, or another class.

Will do, thanks for the advice.
