Wasn't someone ranting a while back in an old thread that +12 Conflate weapon hits as hard as +15 SF weapon? Or was his testing confirmed flawed?
  • No one wanted to do the testing to prove him wrong. And when suggesting something against it, it wasn't a very "fun" conversation.
  • After buff cf will be overall better than SF
  • No one said otherwise o.o sf will be 2 gear patches old so it's natural it can't complete in any way.
  • What about Conflate belt in terms of defense? It's always better than Imperator or SF belt, right? It has a pretty high def. modifier compared to the other two belts.
  • Overall after the buff conflate will hit harder than SF but not by much.

As for it contending with Vm7 -8 ...

Putting it simply CF can stand up to both sets but you have to be good at your class. Bluehole can't let Vm8 at least fall beneath or equal to CF.

All in all though if you're a tank you need the Vm weapon.
  • From my personal testing conflate gloves are overrated. VM gloves with 3% increase damage is about the same as 6% pvp damage.

I'm not sure how you could come to that conclusion when Starfall gloves and conflate gloves do virtually the same damage. Starfall gloves have 3% damage and 7 flat pvp attack. Conflate has 6%.

I guess you could say 3% is "about" the same as 6%. In that case 90% damage is "about" the same as 100% am I right?

CF will be better than full +15 VM7. CF will be bis until vm8 +15 and vm8.5 +15. duh...

However, the CF armor is better than both (except +15 vm 8.5 boots)

VM as in starfall or Imperator? If you are using SF it may be equal as the surplus 3% may be negated by the 7 pvp attack on SF. I'm not too sure about this though, if someone could test out like the attack of Imperator Weap/Belt with SF Gloves/Boots/Chest VS Imperator Weap/Belt with Conflate gloves/SF chest/Boots
  • @Moroku I now read all your comments in your voice...
  • So just to be clear what should healers be using for both PvP and PvE next patch? After buffed conflate
  • @Athletic VM 8 weapon, Conflate chest, conflate gloves, vm 8 boots, vm 8 belt(or conflate belt actually not really sure about the belt, probably vm 8)
  • @Cuatal and that's for both PvP and PvE? Or just PvP?
  • Btw (off-topic) does anyone know what chat in game people are using now to talk between battlegrounds? Now that alliance chat is gone
