Truth has been spoken. Too late to change it now; people have spent real money for it already. I saw some procs before server went down awhile ago.
I don't think you understand exactly how this will change how hardcore players will play the game. It's going to turn boss fights (particularly score runs) into rng-based messes (more than they already are). You're going to start seeing them try to intentionally proc the buff before enraging and fire avalanching because of the ridiculously MASSIVE boost to damage the proc will give it. The math here isn't wrong, and this passive is a [filtered] addition to this game that only further strips people's ability to reliably play the game at a high level.
And if you aren't a hardcore player then it wouldn't even matter to you whether the proc exists or not, so why would you care if it got removed?
I'm a healer main so the crit power doesn't even apply to me yet I still dislike them.
In all other regions, the only way to obtain them is through real money. I feel like BHS is trying a new route to slowly make TERA p2w and I doubt that it will stop since they'll be making a lot of profit due to players finding the crit power necessary.
Questioning my math is perfectly fair. The calculations are very simple. Let's assume you have a skill that hits for 1 million damage on a white hit. This will get multiplied by your crit power on a critical hit. Boss monsters have 10% reduced damage on critical hits, so it's actually multiplied by your crit power * 0.9 on a critical hit against bosses. Now then, for a brawler, assuming you have a crit power VII scroll and a focused dyad and a wrathful dyad, your crit power is 2(base)+1.42(scroll)+1.66(wrathful dyad)+1.88(focused dyad) = 6.96. So 1 mill noncrit haymaker, would crit for 6.96*1million * 0.9 = 6.264 million on a crit. Now, if you have both passives proc at once (and from what I understand, they can stack like this) you now have 6.96+3.5 crit power = 10.46 crit power. 1 million * 10.46 * 0.9 = a 9.414mil haymaker crit. 9.414/6.264 = 50.28% damage increase from the dragon procs while they're active.
On a dps, you should have 8.14 crit power with onslaught vii scroll and full backcrit dyads. 8.14+3.5 = 11.64 crit power. 11.64/8.14 = 1.4299, basically a 43% damage increase. A fire avalanche that noncrits for 5 mil, would do 36.63 mil without the procs, and 52.38 mil with the procs.
