    I'll be honest, I wish EME would release its RNG rates, because K TERA has to, as well J TERA due to mmo laws that have been passed in those countries. It'd be nice if the US did the same, but Americans aren't as involved with mmo culture like Asia in general is.

    Ever since they came out I have been screaming this, the only way to get rid of those infuriating boxes is not to buy them.
    If people didn't buy the RNG boxes then EME would be forced to give us a less $#!% method of purchase.

    Also (I have no evidence of this) but there is no guarantee that everyone has an equal chance.
    EME could have different probabilities (based on EMP purchasing habits or other data) and adjust actual probability of winning accordingly.
    I see some people win all the time and others who never win.
    There is no guarantee that the wins aren't setup in some way, like 10 wins in the first hour and then a maximum of 3 wins every hour thereafter irrespective of how many boxes are opened.

    EME won't say what the actual probability is, RNG boxes are an F'ing scam, AVOID!

    eme would have made more or equal to the money they made today if they would have made account mounts for red and black dragons, then maybe kept the ghost and diamond dragons in loot boxes(like the dyeable costumes). I feel like people would have bought them if they were available. many would have just bought them outright instead of farming tokens. this would have been one of the rare instances that I would have bought emp, but being in loot boxes, no way. been there, done that, sold the movie rights.

    Yes, I would have bought them right away (actually already spend some money on emp for it prior to the patch). But I refuse to buy non-account mounts with EMP and if they are only available in loot boxes then nope, this is why I abandoned my collectors edition account on EU, because most things where loot box only and there was no option for buying account mounts. Now I have the same issue here. I am not going to spend money on a chance to maybe get a character mount.

    PS: I don't understand why harmless words are filtered as well?

    Took 7 months off, Vowed i wouldn't spend any more money on RNG boxes.
    These mounts come out. i drop $100. which gave me 24 boxes. Knew i was going to regret it.
    Not a single mount, let alone only 10 tokens.
    While a guildie opened 16 boxes. got 1 mount and like 65 tokens.

    What can you do. But I'm done spending money.

    I know people don't like RNG boxes, I don't so I rarely buy them whether with gold or EMP, how ever, the only way to ever get rid of loot boxes is simply to have enough people not buying them. If people buy them, even spending hundreds on them, they'll continue with the loot boxes. At the end of the day, the people at the top are only concerned with getting a return on what they invested, and if they see loot boxes are helping with that... then they will keep them.

    Op are you serious? You can scream all you want at your bad luck, your Rng sucked. You can blame Eme and want a refund, good luck with that by the way...

    But at the end of the day, YOU are the one that laid down "$400" to buy the Emp to gamble on loot boxes. Rant as much as you want, but the odds are never in your favour. The house always wins because the odds are stacked against you.

    I agree, that's why I refuse to buy them. In general, you spend more on things like that then you will ever get out of them. But there is a reason why casinos and lottery tickets still exist, some people get a thrill out of the chance to win even if the probability to win is low

    The Op wants people to feel bad for them, when they spent a Ridiculous amount of money to buy an uncertainty they will never really own!?!
    Too bad that you didn't think about that when you kept buying those loot boxes, and isn't there a limit on how much Emp you can buy per day?
    It is a gamble, some people love it and others hate it. But to put this Bs in the forums is stupid, especially since you mention you played since launch. You should know better, and I think you are exaggerating the amount anyway.
