Ever since the Hello Kitty fiasco, the only money I spend in rng goes to Powerball and Lotto. So I'll wait patiently for the in game grindable mount and, with my very limited play time I have, try to obtain it a year from here. I'm at an age where I can't (nor want to) rush for game things, and if things go past and I miss them, so be it. It's just polygons and pixels.

the problem is the people who cannot pay ARE at a gameplay disadvantage. this IS a pay to win game.

unless you telling me a person with a normal working hour playing a couple of hours per day can get a full set +15 imperator with t3 etchings and dyad niveots + accessories before the patch ends.

easily. If you know what you're doing in this game you can get your full set of gear in the first 2 months then have the rest (usually 3-4 months) of the patch to enjoy it! It's about playing efficiently and not playing a lot.

Does the dragon show up in the dressing room yet? It didn't this morning

Are the tokens from lootbox and the ones that bams will drop the same?
  • Have they announced when the tokens will be dropping from 65 BAMs? Nothing against the dragons in the box, I just really want the black (iron) dragon!

It seems that the tokens from the lootbox instead allow you to get the regular (non-royal) versions of the cash shop versions. So basically, if you don't win the grand prize, you can use the tokens to get the lesser version of the same design. I don't know though how many tokens that requires.

I'm pretty sure that's wrong cause there's 4 versions from the lootbox tokens, Reg. Diamond, Reg. Ghost, and then Royal. Diamond, and Royal. Ghost. Unless it was recently changed.

Edit : Nope, still the same, 4 versions.
2 Regulars (Diamond and Ghost) 60 Dragon Tokens
2 Royals (Diamond and Ghost) 80 Dragon Tokens

From what I get the tokens are also RNG. If the boxes dropped at least a few guaranteed tokens it would feel a bit more fair. Though of course, best for the likes of me would be a stat-less direct buy version. Hint BHS and EME. There's still sales through that method. :)

Sadly, they get more money from complete RNG. For example, both my gf and I threw $180 into EMP and got... I'll let you guess it :)
  • This game is p2w in pvp. I went yesterday to see the map of civil unrest. and sure enough bunch of kids with tier10 +15 gear will senselessly kill you on sight. I don't bother with the fights at all, let them feel superior for all the 3 seconds they take. I'll just respawn and go around, until i get bored with the area and leave. My guild is too small for towers anyway.

That said, mounts and costumes are not a game unbalance thing, you don't get better or worse with them. It is widely accepted for f2p games for cosmetic items to be monetized. Its only a mount, it won't make your fights any better and the "shiny new" fever fades out very quick.

Oh got it then. Then your question is actually the opposite of what I thought. The one that will drop from BAMs is a different set of tokens, just for the Iron version of the mounts. In the earlier incarnation it required 750 tokens to get the regular and 1000 to get the royal, but that may be one of the things they're changing. You can't get the Ghost or Diamond ones in-game, and you can't get the iron or crimson from the cash shop (except in either case via the broker).

(Thanks for the information about how many tokens it takes from the cash shop. It's at least a small step towards a failure cap, but the cap is extremely high and still RNG.)

At least they will get the same amount from me, rng tokens or not. :D

last i checked those tokens were selling for 10k each, minimum. so 600k for just the regular version of the mount if ur getting them by buying the tokens off AH. you can get the mount itself for 400-500k, but GL finding one for sale. the demand is pretty high for them. i imagine the token prices will go down tho to like 5k per token...
