Strongbox Event with jackpot of Royal Dragon of random?

@Spacecats What if we had Strongbox event with a jackpot of random Royal Dragon(random in colors)?

The fact that the RNG of expensive(495 per box) loot box have terrible RNG this time and the non-release of normal dragons and direct-purchase of them with EMP really dissapointed us.

Plus, CS is completely dead. Strongboxe Keys are mad hard to get. Therefore, there won't be any royal dragon overflow in the game.

Edit: Since EME overflowed our economy with feedstocks and MWAs that'll last 2 patches for a lot of people, the 2000 MWA jackpot or 1000 Feedstock jackpot is gonna be.. Not even a jackpot. Just a utter waste of gold buying strongbox keys and using it.

    Maybe I'm wrong but I thought the point of making the dragon mounts an RNG loot box is to balance the chances/effort/cost of those vs the large amount of grinding necessary to stack up dragon tokens (when they implement them as drops/rewards, anyways). There's going to be those lucky few who can afford enough boxes to get the fancy ones, but biggest thing for me is that they implement dragon token drops asap. Much of the resentment stirring is because the loot boxes are currently the only way to get them right now.

    Now, how come all people are going crazy over this dragon? I've never seen a request before to put a dyeable costume in a strongbox.
    I'm one of the RNG box buyers and I can tell you: your math is wrong.

    If the 450 EMP dragon box has a success of e.g. 10%, it would be adapted. 5 keys go for 450 EMP, so we're at 2%. Add in all the keys from CS and your chance is at 0,1%. Nope, buying the boxes is still better because of the CS factor.

    Just in case you didn't know: every MMO company has monetarization specialists (probably studied math) and they know what probabilities to put in. Don't think you can outplay them.

    i've had cs pop more than a handful of times yesterday, all within an hour or two

    granted, they were all really good or really bad (mostly bad), but the guild quest does appear to have revived the bg to some extent.


    no one wants a strongbox event just so you can flip the keys you saved up. you said it yourself: any jackpot would be worth less than usual with how much enchanting supplies have been handed out recently

    Right, but it's not just myself. Many others wants the event too. Just because you didn't save the keys doesn't mean you can argue that the event idea isn't worth it.

    The usual jackpot wouldn't be worth it, that's why I'm suggesting Royal Dragon jackpot with lower chance.

    next strongbox event is going to be really bad considering the prices of alks/sb etc now. even smart dyads are a lot easier to obtain than before which made the strongbox events really good for those smart dyads.
