What are 'Gunners' like in PvE?
I had a few questions about the class because I was thinking of playing it after I finally got to level 65 and saw healing robots and turrets in CS. They are even able to shoot down SS without being in a siege! So I was wondering...
1. If I had +12 Slaughter (Full), Weapon/Glove Rolls: Crit Factor, Power, CD Reduction, Atk Speed, Robe/Boots Rolls: Endurance, Movement Speed, Damage Reduction, MP Regen, Full Crit Bonus Shadowvain/Bloodvain (Also power), crit factor general being around: 200~250... How well will I do when I crit? What would be my average damage? (I can't handle complex math when it comes to these skills, RNG, crit... etc)
2. Is there a time limit on the Healing Bot like it is for the mystic?
3. Is there a time limit on the Turret?
4. How good is the Gunner at dodging when it comes to other players? (Is there a lot of iframes?)

Turret is fine for giving you a little extra damage. It's not really meant to be an OP mini tank.
Learning how and when to use recall is pretty crucial, but rocket jump can often get you out of harms way as well.
Gunner = walk slower with limp
Normally, Gunner is easiest for training new dungeon. Try MM, it's joke for Gunner.
Rolling Reload with a 5s cooldown and a glyph that gives a chance to eliminate cooldown.
Command Recall with a 40s cooldown, provided your HB is within 40m, also has the nifty effect of relocating you and pulling you upright.
Rocket Jump used to grant some status immunity but doesn't any more, however it's a fast way to get out of an AoE, as long as you can get out before the AoE goes off.
one of my favorite gunners hits around 1.5 - 1.8m on SSHM first boss.. Once, i made a party with another gunner, with same gear and she did 300k....
so make sure to learn your rotation..... (guess thats applies to all classes tho)....
Indeed, it takes a second to get used to gunner's recommended rotation and until you can execute it proficiently, you'll find yourself putting out subpar DPS as you stand there mashing buttons like an idiot because AB failed to reset two times in a row, BF isnt ready and you cant remember the priority of your fillers
Othervise. yeah they OK, but as above said.
Slowest class in game
To much need to relocate, even if you play 'melee gunner' as many do now.
Nerf after nerf after nerf and never a slight rework to make that class to new realities.
Ping dependents of BF (one of main DPS skill)
Broken chain of skills
Gunner is really forsaken by BHS
