24h is time limit to hit lv 65 so little ninjas can get their pretty title.
That is beautiful enough to make your old granny cry with emotions and all but...you shall be the one who will cry for entirely different reason.
First we have dungeons that you can't do because your ping jumps at 500-800, even over 1000(would be cool if jumped over 9000, then joke would be better). Meaning we get to meet amazing lag. If you are guy that never met this amazing person by name lag before, now you have chance to meet him. Very charming person to say the least.
Battlegrounds are even better.
It brings CS to whole new level. Instead of "is my raid a raid or cancer", now you pray that your raid is not one that will get most offline guys. Lol.
Also another news.
Shop is down/Item Claim is down. So yeah, you can't claim an item right now, sorry.
And the best of all...now check this out...the best of all now is if you happen to restart game or crash(due charming person by name of lag that caused disconnect), you can't log back in. Brilliant!
In game guys, hope you mange to get that one title that is making you all giddy and all other who are on my team of party that got crashed...well feel free to sip yourself a cup of tea and join me in the tales of wonder of this amazing event, to celebrate it's brilliance.

Well... there used to be a reward for clearing first on the whole server and people were racing for that. Now they just expanded it so that more people could do it with the 24-hour limit (partly to address the fact that there are so many boosts that would need to be disabled now if they were to keep it "fair")... so I guess you're right that this perpetuated the problem in a way.
Perhaps next time it should be anyone within the first week or something, but I suppose then the achievement isn't so valuable.
