Contribution points
So whats the purpose of the 0(+#) instead of just #? and Why aren't contribution points counted per accnt instead of per char? just curious if anyone can answer this thx in advance!

ahhh i thought it was weird it stopped going up xD didnt knwo that was the cap. stil though what up with the 0?? liek i coudl see hwo it would make sense if maybe the 0 was that accnts total points and then in the () it shows how many that char has earned towards that total.. but the random 0 kinda annoys me xD also can we PLEASE get last login date back.. i know there was 5 inactive in my guild before the patch, wasnt too concerned with it then but now that guild is growing id like to kick those people, cant remember their names so not really any way to tell who they are now...
You can get gold for them if your guild leader distributes funds. So far, looks like it's enough to pay for your pet food.
It doesnt even matter the quests are so minimal only the first ppl to log on during the day get to participate, very skewed towards east/international players.
so contribution points DO have something to do with the distribute gold feature!! i kinda thought so!
Do you also happen to know if the funds amount is directly = to gold amount? like 5k funds= 5k gold? and also will it only distribute to online people or to anyone with contribution even if they're offline when the feature is used?
I distributed the other day, on a lvl 5 guild. It only allowed me to distribute 30% of the guild funds(500 in this case), taxed me 125 funds or so. 1k contribution got me slightly under 90g. All accounts with contribution(regardless of onlne/offline status) received gold. Most others had about 200 contribution and got about 17g out of it. If I had to guess on how it works, I'd say, yes, 5k funds(distributed, so you'd need ~15k total) equates to 5k gold which is then split between all who have contributed based on how much they contributed relative to each other. <-- I'm just guessing though, can distribute again in a couple days and take notes on who gets what for a clearer picture. All I have for now is....you ain't getting rich with this system.
TY again for answering this!! i tried finding this info all over to no avail!. One last question though do the contribution points reset after you distribute? seems like they would but just wanna be sure
I didn't check right after I did it though I doubt anyone made 1k cp in 2 days. Plus, you can only distribute funds every 7 days and I assume there is an automatic cp reset once a week that guild leaders should take into account when distributing.
PS: It seems every time you distribute funds, you have to pay a 25% tax. So, if you distribute 4k funds, you'll actually lose 4k + 1k in tax.
how do you contribute to gathering quests? where do the gathered items go?
if the quest requests 1200 cobala ore, you just gather cobala ores. the ores go into your inventory, but the quest goes up each time you gather. So if you gather 4 ores from one node, the quest goes up by 4. Editing because I forgot to say you keep the ore at the end. I did last night.
ty @TWMagimay your information helped me get everyone in guild to 1k points before using distribute, im not sure if it changed since you did it but the 30% is not a set amount, you can slide between 20-40%, i didnt take the time to do the math but i think the tax on it at 40% was only 10% because we had 68XX funds and after distrubing we had 34XX so seems like it was an even 50%, also to answer my own question (just incase anyone else was curious) contribution points do NOT reset after distributing even though they do determine a persons % received, so as long as you hit the 1k cap you will always get max gold from distribution
My only questions left about this system are:
-When does the distribute feature reset? is it a set day/time or is it an internal timer of 7days after using it?
-Do contribution points perhaps reset each week when the distribute time resets?
obviously the second question is going to take time to answer as it is still only the 4th day since the patch.
What guild level? When I did it, the slider went between 15% and 30%(didn't try to type in a number though).
Both questions will need time. I suspect cp will reset after the fight today though. But we'll see tomorrow xD
