Worth returning to or no?

Bluehole Studios' apparent emphasis on $$-making instead of feedback, refusal to optimize the game, my technical difficulties, dumbing down PvE content, and other issues persuaded me to give up on Tera about a year ago. Worth returning? Finally got motivated to ask after my dad (who still plays) showed me the alliance content seems to have been deleted.

    Um, well lately for some reason, the game started running 10x better than it used to , and not just for me, but for a good amount of my friends who play as well, so it seems as if they're working on optimizing the game slowly but surely they're getting there, PvE is still alright, the guild content is actually making smaller guilds run stuff together instead of making guilds seem worthless and is going pretty nice in my opinion, although alliance was deleted it was replaced with this new "guild vs guild" which takes place instead of alliance and apparently drops really great items so for now the only thing you'd be doing is either grinding PvE stuff, or waiting for the weekly GvG to start, or working on your guild to level it up, not that much to do with this patch but i'd say give it a month again and try again.

    Well, to clarify, the tech issues I had basically were that on default settings, game tended to lag in crowded areas, drop to single-digit FPS, that sort of annoyance. I used the manual hacks to get my fps up, but what really irked was 20+ on my screen caused a nosedive in fps, so even CS got less fun when that happened.

    I take it this guild vs. guild is more or less fun? Prefer a reasonable fight without any of the self-centered attitude (something a few Tera pvpers could learn), you know, just duke it out and then laugh over the results.
