Possible connection denial via hotspot?

So I've been gone from the game for a couple months now, decided to try out the ninja, updated the client just fine, clicked play, but it keeps throwing "Error: 0111:0003" "Sorry, our servers aren't available right now."

I've seen others log in just fine via teamspeak, so I'm pretty sure they haven't shut down the log in servers. I can use the forums just fine (obviously), as well as any other website / game service. I've already tried restarting my PC, restarting the launcher, repairing the launcher, dumping the DNS cache. I don't have any mods, and I don't think it's the update in general.

Thoughts?

    Also wanted to throw out that I'm not using a wired connection, it's one of those wireless hotspots from StraightTalk.

    Tera's having issues right now with people currently in the game lagging as all hell, and others who wanted to play and enjoy the game being unable to connect. In short, potato servers.

    Simply put, so many people are logging in and on that it's stressing the servers more than they're normally done. Just wait a bit. Also, wouldn't be surprised if some trolls are occasionally hitting it with a DDoS just for lulz.

    I connected via a VPN and it worked just fine, so I'm kinda confused. Also because of this my ping went from 80 to 800. :^)
