Level 65 HM versions of old dungeons for content filler between big updates

  • EME should be given the ability to randomly bring back any old dungeon they like with EME organised difficulty level (how hard is it to increase HP and hit strength) as well as loot table modification. If it is (for technical reasons) too difficult for EME to be given control over difficulty level, they could just create a debuff (MCHM might roughly take starfall +15 to visionmaker +12 for example) which you get when you enter the dungeon and goes away when you exit.

    This would be great for EME organised events (e.g. Kelsaik's Nest Hard Mode, 2 weeks only) and would really break up the tedium.

    I do not believe it would be at all difficult in the slightest for BHS to do this, but they never will.

    Since every build is closer to Korea, if its not implement in kTera then there is zero chance of getting.

    Its a shame there's no Placebo Council for kTera, instead Bluehole gets feedback from Inven forums which the only constructive criticism are coffin posts.

    It's only happening "less" because people are sitting in que for a dungeon longer than before even after the fact they made it so a group can put 4 tanks or 4 dps together. Blast from the past was simply a scapegoat, removing it didn't really do much since even when people say they have a quest in the dungeon they are usually ignored and told to solo the dungeon. If anything, there shouldn't be story quests in dungeons this late into the game. Most people don't do the quest, and having your dungeon take up 5+ more minutes anytime someone wants to do it when you get nothing out of it means people will ignore it.
  • Wanna know something better yet? - Putting a special NPC selling +12/10 gear dropped from that dungeon so you could buy this gear and being ABLE TO RUN THE DUNGEON ONLY WITH THAT GEAR, By example: Agnitor/Reagent gear for Manayas/AC. or WonderHolme with Steadfast/WH Gear, yunno :) (in case of not applying the lvl 65 buff for those dungeons)

    Dungeons like: Kelsaik Nest HM, Manaya's Core HM (The 2012 version of it, the anti debuff Manaya). Argon Corpus HM. Crucible of Challenge, Kaprima HM. Golden times. I would be really really happy if they'd manage to do such thing :) something like "NA only" stuff. That would totally mark the difference.
  • Blast in the past was a nice feature but sadly there were way too many complaints and problems. There were many threads on it as well and later on this feature was removed. I don't think they'll ever bring that feature back unless there are some changes made to remedy the many problems there were in blast in the past.

    Some dungeons that were worth doing before were: schm, fihm, and aihm to name a few. I would've personally wanted to tackle mchm since I wasn't around back in those days and hearing that it was the hardest, I like to always make a goal to clear the hardest thing that I could ever clear.

    Nahhhh. but i'll agree with other comments on Blast from the Past it was fun and a way for reapers to properly get their achievements.

  • TBH what i'd like them to do is adjsut the older endgame dungeons to current midtier gear instead of nerfing them. I miss timescape and kdhm and they're still here but boring.

    It just doesn't work that way. ABHM was popular because it had a title and people rushed to have it. Now it is in the game and the only reason to run is if you have it as guild quest, which for people like me is an annoyance. Why?     DSU and SSHM are the dungeons i've liked most in the game. I have over 600 clears in dsu and around 400 clears in sshm

It is already too much that the new bosses are reskinned old ones. We fought every single mob model as boss varian already. We even had a [filtered] bee from level 1.

    You are a veteran player who already beaten all these dungeons hundrends of times. But ppl come and go, there are many players like me who have never seen most dungeon older than few patches. If you show me old dungeon and tell me it's a new one, I won't even notice a difference. Sure, the best idea would be getting more new content faster, but BHS has limited resources to do so. Bringing back removed dungeons require almost no resources (all required files are still in our Tera folder) and provides a lot of fun for the big part of playerbase mentioned before.

    Adding a debuff to make these dungeons difficult even with current gear is actually a simple and great idea!

    The only bosses done right in DSU are Hrathgol, Lokmar Sorgalur, Meldita and Kaprima.
