Hey fellas,

I played TERA from late 2014-mid 2015, just to give a time reference. I really enjoyed it at that time despite all the blatant flaws and such. The game had a charm and I was both captivated and excited by the beauty and the combat of the game. I haven't played it since then, though, due to RL issues.

I am thinking of joining back but not without reservations. I am purely a PvE player (I get 250+ ping so PvP isn't quite possible). It seems that there have been major content released while I was gone. Last I checked, many dungeons were removed as well. That's okay though. That's just how things tend to be in MMOs. However, I would welcome any sincere feedback that you guys n gals have, regarding the state of the game and the community as a whole. MMOs are a time sink so I would choose this wisely. Especially, when Black Desert is out there (no dungeons there though :anguished: ).

Let me know your thoughts.

PS - Last few months before I left, my main was a Slayer.

    not really suitable to come back now as this massive patch is causing almost every player lag,delay, super high ping and disconnect from server.

    With this being said, and me living in Alaska, and the distance between the server and myself, I'm quite shocked that I've not seen Ping over 100.

    TBH though I came back a few weeks ago, went through the new patch, and the crash, and I've not really regretted it yet.

    If you expect alot of content and high population , you're wrong. Its still a month till next patch and everybody is burned out by current patch's dungeons, except for those who never tried the hard endgame there is nothing really worth spending time on apart from gathering resources for next patch.

    Well, I have missed quite a lot of dungeons in the past 2 years or so. Most of the dungeons I used to play are gone :(:(

    What's the new content patch like? Anything major incoming ?

    I am not interested in playing the new classes (Reap, Brawl, Gun, Ninja). I think I would stick with Slayer. Has Slayer been nerfed or beefed in the recent past (or planned for future)?

    We will have 2 new dungeons coming next month (late october, early november) as well as Kaprima and SCHM returning. With the new patch, new gear set, new world of tanks type battleground. And after that the 30-man raid content. You can read up on these on Yosha's site and tumblr or Essentialmana.

    BHS is working hard on balancing classes, slayers are in a good position atm, only ninja and after the sorc revamp will be outliers if played well.
