None of what I'm saying is trying to give them a free pass -- in fact, I said that I found the lack of service appalling despite not being abnormal for the industry. But even if you see them as two separate divisions as part of a larger whole "Bluehole, Inc." the North American live services division (EME) is not in a position to tell the software development division (BHS) what to do. EME's job, such as it is, is to publish whatever BHS makes. I'm sure they have discussions with them all the time about what the market needs, but BHS has shown pretty clearly that they're willing to make decisions that run counter to what EME knows the local market wants (ref: dragons, remodeling, etc.). So if you are trying to lay lame, sure, it all falls back to the parent company/investors who own the whole thing, and EME is their local face in this market. But, practically speaking, it's pretty immaterial given the walls they set up between divisions/business units.
For what it's worth, none of the regions "buy patches." They all have a rev share agreement with BHS. BHS centrally develops and manages all the builds for all regions worldwide, and the publishers provide local marketing, sales, and IT services (and so on). So the arrangement EME has with BHS is really not so different than other publishers, except for the fact that they share the same core investors. Neither BHS nor EME have the size of teams necessary to really give each market what it deserves in terms of attention and focus, which is a big part of the problem here.
Again, my point was not to absolve anyone of blame or responsibility. No matter what BHS does or does not do, EME is the liaison to the customer and thus responsible for any failure. But again, taking the blame is a different issue from solving the problem.

webzen did not have that kind of staff then i can guarantee you that and now they lost alot to pearl abyss.
your 'guarantee' is meaningless. you can pull up any companies fairly current employees through searches. ESPECIALLY a public company like webzen. and they have acquired other companies. also public knowledge.
But Civil Unrest did happen... on the forums :^)
same way nexon is larger and now basically co dev of tera with bhs, so yea nexon + bhs > webzen my point still stands.
Besides, EME shouldn't need their players to white knight for them - it should be natural for a company like them to have the fortitude to deal with things like this. Ultimately it's their decision on far they want to implement the feedback received, and those that are able to come out of it with improvements to the product are worthy of respect.
Basically, if you don't agree with the points presented, you can try and refute them with the respective party, or just ignore them. But trying to defend EME and shielding them from supposed "crying" is laughable. Would it be wrong if I said that I felt that their current mangaging of content (with regards to stuff like mongos, double drops at bad times, SSHM nerf within a month, drops) wasn't satisfactory? Some people spend a considerable amount of investment (time, money etc.) on this, pretty sure they are allowed to have a say.
jk
The game at one time was monthly-sub and I know a bunch of people including myself who played then.
It really is sad to see how low EME has come.
They only care about milking this game for all the money its worth yet put nothing into the actual game to better it.
EME you have let your community down which is honestly just sad.
I was really disappointed now I am just kinda bummed out that I have been such a loyal player along many who you really just do not take seriously.
Edit: its okay though EU has dragons,CU and new Kaia skins.
