And? People certainly have the right to complain should they feel the need to do so. The players support the game, if they find it lacking in some respect, then they have a right to voice that.
  • In general, most revamps are broken BS now a days, but we can't change it.
  • Also the days where mwa was 120g a PIECE. The only way to acquire it was farming KN or LoT, or swiping.

but at this time+15 [filtered] didnt exist and you could retool your vm, instead to farm a new vm :)

Neither did belts, brooches, innerwear, dyads, etchings, etc. I wouldn't call either time easier or harder. Back then there was less things to worry about but getting each thing was a lot of grind and crappy rng. The community has changed a lot though so that nowadays min-maxing gear is considered more important than understanding how to play your class lol.
  • member when lumbertown, velika, and kanstria used to be loaded with players, and many helped new people out in game.... I member.....member berries....gotta love them lol.

and you had the bank full of superior deathstain gear to use as enchant material
  • Reputation daily quests were profitable, making gold was never an issue.

I still cannot understand why they nerfed the gold on these. even now, they could bring it back to the original amount to what it was. oh I remember, people were complaining about how it was hurting the economy....yeah, ok, whatever .
  • Kinda wish they'd drop a vintage server and let us play the original version.

It was hurting the economy -- like TAR that came after it, it was the leading cause of gold inflation at the time. People were farming those dailies so much that there was way more gold entering the market than any possible gold sink. People had accounts full of alts just so they could maximize the gold creation. It seemed good at the time because people thought they were getting ahead with minimal effort, but it was just going to collapse on itself and was removing an incentive from participating in the latest group content in favor of farming outdated content.

Maybe the nerf was too drastic, but it was definitely needed to some degree.
