Deaf, Dumb and Ignored?

Anyone else feel like we are all broken records repeating things over and over and EME just blindly walks by? I think everyone's issues have been stated a million and a half times yet nothing changes. Last time it took, what a thousand plus players to leave the game in a day just to get action on minor items and a very basic communication request. That lasted for about 2 months and we're back to where we started pre-Jan2016.

it is not only enmasse fault, bhs has a lot responsabilities in that
  • It works because content is slightly different for every publisher, as there are different players on every region, the code where the patch will be implemented is also slightly different due previous 'tweaked' updates (patches, unique content, special events, special items and so on).

We can't know what's making this issues, but I can assure you that isn't as simple as "Make the content, test it, translate it, and drop it'. If updates would work just like that, I could agree with you, but I can't. For real, you don't really know how hard managing a game like this is.

Why is everything working properly over at Gameforge though then ? Why their servers are not shutting down and civil unrest works without any problems ?
I think people should stop using this *Its not Enmasses fault, its BhS fault* poor type of excuse

show me the part *Its not Enmasses fault in my post pls ?

you think bhs is innocent? it is because them if tera collapse since fate of arun, before we had fun in tera, now the game turn to be crap, the day bhs removed the remodel system was the day tera begin to slope down

Because they already milked enough money out of EU community by locking the MWA in the shop.

At least I feel like I can do something rewarding in this game even if it isn't dungeons and it'll take less time to grind for my stuff compared to other MMOs. In the long run it's about money, just like with shittty AT&T locking naive people into contracts because they know they have trash internet and flat out refuse to fix it.

On the other hand, BHS doesn't do that and gives us the choice to play the game or not without any contract bs. If people are not satisfied with a game they'll leave. Sadly, that's just how it is, we can't expect those Koreans to understand our plea for fixes from a business point of view. And for the record, stop blaming publishers for a game being broken at its core. They should be taking the blame for server sided issues and events.

As far as Civil Unrest: Velika goes, that's an excellent question! I think if we'd known the answer going into the update, it would have helped a ton. Unfortunately each TERA region is a bit different as far as server setup/configuration. There's a piece to the puzzle that is unique to our version, and our production team is talking with Bluehole to figure out what that is.

First of all those [filtered] contracts from your ISP is how they make money since they have to pay money to get you as a customer at the start (buying your phone, gift with sign up, discounted rates for 6 months etc) and if you work the system with some minor headaches you could swap companies every 1-3 years and get pretty decent kickbacks from it.

Second most importantly, EME is BHS. This has been covered about a thousand times. Same parent company, incorporated to protect the main brand. That's it, legally protecting assets so if one region or branch fails it doesnt bring down the primary host. Same people making decisions, same responsibilities.

Dictionary definition for those Whiteknights too lazy to look it up
    sub·sid·i·ar·y
    səbˈsidēˌerē/

    noun
    noun: subsidiary; plural noun: subsidiaries

    1.
a company controlled by a holding company.
synonyms: subordinate company, branch, branch plant, division, subdivision, derivative, subset, offshoot
    "two major subsidiaries"
    rare
a thing that is of lesser importance than but related to something else.

    Origin
  • EME cannot modify anything by themselves, hence they have to ask BHS to modify the bugs, glitches or anything for them. Everything would be faster if EME could hire some programmers and fix the "corrupted" code or at least the parts that aren't working as intended, but they can't as they're working UNDER a contract with BHS (Even if they're the "same company").

I want you to understand that, EME can't do anything they want just for the "incorporated company" part.

So, yeah, that's why you hear that "Isn't EME's fault" a lot, because they CAN'T do anything on the raw code, that's all BHS moo-crap that is trying to fix the korean's issues and patching for everyone the same instead developing for every region independently.

En Masse is the publisher for TERA while Bluehole is the developer. As far as responsibility to the game, our roles are fairly different.
  • yea but nothings gonna happen lmao
