About dragons and lootboxes

I've been thinking, why can't we just have dragons who are not of the royal kind buyable at the emp store as character or account mounts? After all, mounts have always worked like that, have they not? You get the normal ones with no buffs from the emp store, and the special ones with the neat buffs as lootbox rares. You can even get both kind of dragons from the tokens, normal or royal. I don't even care about the crit buff I jsut want to look cool with a diamond dragon.

    It's been suggested a lot of times, but I think for the moment BHS is trying to create a sort of faux-exclusivity to it. It wouldn't surprise me if, eventually, they release more variants that lack the special buffs and go direct-sale, but after the novelty wears off a bit. It's a proven marketing strategy... even if I'm not sure it's a great one (certainly for this moment in time).
