And I think it makes alot of sense that guilds form raids to get the loot since it is suppose to be competitive after all. Small guild can just manipulate the spawn time til they think they have enough members or have a chance at taking the prizes. i dunno. EME has handed enough stuff to us and we keep spitting back into their faces.
I've talked with spacecats and he's not the easiest person to get in touch with. EME is as much concerned with your problems as you are. But it think you need to realized that this isn't the end of the world. EME has set up a support form and a suggestion forum so you can rant all you want there. IF you havn't noticed EME is planning a monster invasion similar to the mongo event that'll drop good lot and many other stuff. Just be patient my guy.

We have provided a lot of feedback about the rally quest already and add to it as more issues are brought to our attention. It's up to eme and bhs to sort it out.
I'm an incredibly patient person. First off, I'd like to say while the rest of your post is quite civil, please be mindful enough to not label me as "cancer." I try to be civil in everything I do and I, for one, am much more patient than most people out there. Tera has been out for several years now. I played Tera religiously back when it was first free to play and the rising expansion came out. Nexus was still a thing and Manaya's core hard mode was the end game. People back then leveled out in the open world, pvp, guild wars and pk was a thing and the game was generally bustling.
Over the years I watched nexus get removed. I watched new dungeons come and go, new gear come and go and the level cap was raised to 65. I watched the introduction of production points, the removal of needing to level your own crafting to create gear, a move which annihilated the economy and made many, many drops from normal mobs entirely worthless. I watched as the game moved from leveling in the open world to doing battlegrounds and dungeons all the way to 60 then you quest into 65 in the open world.
Then the server merge came and they made FF a 65 pvp only area. That to me, was a bit of a hit as I occasionally liked to pluck a lvl 64 to rile up their guild. I was one of the pk'ers that never really camped people but I occasionally liked to poke people to rile up their guild and get a good fight going. That was fun. Nowadays that no longer happens.
With Civil unrest, the first week was a disaster. There honestly should have been steps taken so that it didn't happen a second time, but I also work in IT and understand just how complex these problems can be to fix. There could be any number of factors that was causing the event to not flag and for this, I give them some leeway, especially since they have to communicate everything to BHS. I do understand it's out of their hands.
You mention there is other things to do rather than BG's and dungeons. Could you please enlighten me as to what these other things are? I can no longer go and smack a lowbie to rile up a guild due to the 65 only pvp. I can go to velka outskirts and duel, sure, but often times it's people far outside of my gear range that no amount of skill is going to make up for. As for events, there is no nexus, no dreamstorm, no open world events to really do. I could farm for the black leopard mount, but even then it was reduced to a movement speed of 270 or 275 I believe, so there really is no point in doing that.
My alchemy is 800 and I sparsely sell a few HP potions and warding scrolls here and there to make money. There is no more alliance so I can't do that, so other than battlegrounds and dungeons, what else is there to do? I could go pvp people on Island of Dawn farming bams...No, that's a safe zone so I can't do that, either. Honestly, my pickings are a bit slim. I can't run new dungeons either as most of the time I get kicked because I made the mistake of rolling a warrior, or I'm in slaughter gear and not starfall so my DPS is crap or something to that extent.
What I do most of the time is sit in velika until something happens, like an event or i just get so bored I log off. Space cats may be making an event, but that event will be a short event that lasts maybe a couple of hours and then I'm back to square one, being bored again while I wait for something else to happen.
Getting back on topic though, these rally quests are fun when the pvp and stuff happens, but when you have a guild accept it with no intention of ever spawning the bam, that's just straight up wrong. Not only are you stopping a potential guild from leveling, you are also stopping people from getting loot. While this may be a "tactical strategy" for a large guild to employ to inhibit other guilds from encroaching on their status, it really isn't in the spirit of fair play either. I know it's hard to believe, a potential PK'er speaking of fair play, but there are some of us out there that aren't wanting the world to just burn.
Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to share my two cents as well. EME / BHS has had a lot of chances over the years. I've watched a lot of events fail and honestly, my patience is beginning to wear a bit thin.
dam dude you wrote a whole essay xD. I see where you're coming from. And in most reguards I now see how dry TERA really is atm. I pvp and do alot of OW killing so it just faded past me. I guess you have to find something you want to do in the game and just do it coz you like. I dunno.
I guess the only really fun thing to do is just hang out with friends, gear and do G-quest. I really don't know what to say at this point. Gosh EME.
I understand, I do appreciate the efforts. On the other hand, I have no way of knowing what has or hasn't been brought up to them, so from a certain point of view it looks like nothing is being communicated. But that's another topic entirely, don't want to get too far off. As I said, your effort is appreciated.
You guys want them to spawn it, you let them know. That's good that's good. But then they put a condition on spawning the BAM. Foul play? I think not. It's certainly within their rights to spawn it or not, whenever they want. They gave a condition for spawning it - and here's where it gets :sadface:, the condition was, 'Hey you want it, I'm not really from this server but I heard the PvP here is fun, so let's see some. Show me what you're made of, Fey Forest' and you guys TOOK to the FORUMS.
Like instead of simply having a LITTLE fun, [filtered]-ing around and getting the BAM that you wanted spawned, you decided AYYY this guy isn't from here. I don't trust him. I won't ACTUALLY do anything in game, I won't cooperate, I won't negotiate.
And you know what, that in itself could have been...fine. You'd have just left. You'd have just been CIVIL and said 'No sir we're not willing to meet those conditions. Good day and goodbye.'

This wasn't BHS or EME's problem to fix. It was Fey Forest's.
You're right, technically. But obviously the person who had the quest had no intention of summoning it (they discarded the item apparently) so whether or not FF complied with "demands" to kill this guild or that guild and had a 10 FPS Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny, it wouldn't have mattered.

that's not a verifiable fact. How can you prove intent? How can you prove they discarded it?
Actually, WHY would they discard it? If they wanted anything at all, that would be their biggest bargaining chip. What IS apparent is that they asked to see some PvP, some action, like in a significant amount. They asked to see a real fight with a clear winner and a clear loser eg. wipe Desync. Now what is REALLY obvious is that no such thing happened, so my real question to everyone who wanted something DONE about the situation yesterday is, why didn't YOU do anything yesterday?
As for not doing anything, I can't pvp effectively with 10 FPS, not to mention the zergs there killed everyone with outlaw just because.
