One problem with Civil Unrest - There won't be any winner.
I chatted with some EU players about CU. One problem they pointed out is that : With the current implementation of CU there won't be any winner anytime soon.
Why? Because when your guild tower is destroyed, you can still participate normally and keep on attacking whoever you please. Hence, towards the end most guilds are foced to camp their own towers to not risk losing.
Well unless your guild is comprised of more than half the server, you are not going to win.
Last 2 Civil Unrest in EU, there were 5-6 guilds standing till the end. Result : "Velika is free" and no one got anything as rewards.
I hope Enmasse can talk with BhS to fix this l. Maybe do not allow guilds without tower to attack other towers.
PS : Also the dock is located at one side of the map, heavily disadvantage for towers built on that side.

We'll be watching to see how things play out once our Civil Unrest: Velika is up and running, and I'll keep what you said in mind. My only comment is that guilds can place towers wherever they want (with restrictions of course). I can only see this being an issue if all guild towers were somehow placed in random spots. If towers are at a disadvantage if they're closer to the dock, just don't put them close to the dock.
The problem with civil unrest is the fact you can keep going without a tower. You should be auto removed once your tower goes down.
The other issues is allying with other guilds. Eventually you end up with two many alliances and unless you remove the guilds without towers then it just becomes a blood bath with no real winner. Course it should be a bit of fun but if you don't win or no one wins then it's been a waste of time.
Sports with no competition would be exercise. And no one pays money to watch exercise.
I think big guilds will soon try to win-trade to work around this.
Maybe last 3 towers win with each reward better the higher rank you got.
