So, the same should apply for PVP as well, which is also why many people felt the item-level reduction for eq gear was ridiculous. We cannot avoid playing with undergeared chars/alts while also having to deal with PVE players with little experience. Few people actually inspect and kick or harass said players, while most people just realize that they got the fod team and move on. If you are suggesting that the PVE/PVP player with full +15 imperator gear should be forced to not only queue SSHM/FWC, but only be able to use dreadnaught equivalent gear, then you aren't realizing that removing the grind/reward for gearing is something that would actually kill Tera.
All Tera really needs (if they wanted to create more incentive to PVP) is another change like they did in the bellicarium/killing spree shop with starfall for imperator/vm8(Imperator could be similar to starfall is now, while vm8 could be like double the requirements). It was a reliable way to obtain mats and took a similar amount of time as it would take a PVE player to get starfall, where as now even colluva ore(which is needed for conflate) is hard to get without just buying it. That patch was actually pretty nice for that reason, where as now its insane for a PVP only player to get the mats needed for Imperator, let alone how would they obtain the design.
I don't give a [filtered] that YOU did not lose. Most people who lack gear also lack skill. They already lose because they're unskilled, and you want to make their hardship twice as hard for not having gear either? Lack of skill and losing because of it is demotivating enough but at least they can improve. Gear just makes it quadratic, twice as bad.
For someone in mommy's basement who self-proclaimed himself amongst top 1% in cash you sure talk a lot about the common player and their hindrances in the game. You don't know [filtered]. People don't live in basements like you and you need people to play PvP so get over it or go play with dolls by yourself.
Oh and this one is for Plague because at least he can talk normally like a proper person: you know during VM1 times damage was high as well and the meta was similar to how it is now. VM1 Warriors could kill someone in 1 backstab with enough crits (if not peeled). Those were one of the most balanced matches ever, so yeah.
Fixing BG's i think simply adding a day where each one or a few hours where it gives a little more rewards would help stuff like CS and Gridiron pop, and OW PvP give players a REASON to go into Civil Unrest more then just 1x a week (if EME eventually gets it to work) like someone else suggested make the BAMs spawn in Unrest only or make it possible to gather there and make it WORTH WHILE give people a REASON to go outside their comfort zone and possibly actually PvP (all things others have mentioned before me too lazy though to find out who sorry but ty).
I'm in a PvP guild myself and I've members asking me "what's the point of conflate?" i can't do my dailies in it as well as i can in slaughter, duel? done it 100x, GvG nolonger a thing, bg's? only fwc pops and ran 100x what else can we do?
TLDR: give us a reason to go into Civil Unrest outside of the time of conflict (sorry about my horrible spelling and grammar)
