So I come back after 8 months to find out that everything in my 4 tab guild chest has been locked out and the only way I can gain access to it hopefully (who knows if its contents was just wiped clean) is to do quests I don't have the gear to do anything with?

Are you mentally challenged at this company or just trying to make people angry? Maybe I should just go back to FF14. It's obvious the decision making and design team in this game are morons.

    You can still withdraw items from your guild bank temporary tabs, you just can't put anything in until your guild reaches level 30 and opens the normal guild bank tabs.

    Also should note you will want to take everything out of tab 4 of your temp bank before unlocking the first Gbank tab. Otherwise it will all be lost unless they have fixed it.

    Having guild quests was a long wish of the Tera community. The "morons" just abode by this wish and implemented guild quests other MMOs also have. I have no idea if FF14 has guild quests, but you surely have team quests.

    Besides that, I find it very weird that none of your guild members told you about the temporary bank. Also the requirements to unlock the tabs are very low. You run a KC together, you go a bit into CW, collect some raw materials (small guilds) and within some week(s) you hit lvl 30. It's not like you have to work your [filtered] off or pay gold/$ to unlock your guild bank.

    If that is too much of a hassle for your guild, feel free to be annoyed and go back to FF14. It's not like you have to carry it alone.

    Your guild bank contents are not locked out- they are simply moved to a temporary one which you can only draw out of. though i do have to agree with you op since what they did was take what privileges we already have, and make it into grind content. frustrating, yes but it can be unlocked after grinding a few weeks if your guild is pretty inactive... sadface

    they did it so people don't create guilds just for cheap bank space. Although I will admit this patch came too late.
