Enchanting

does anyone know of any good guides for enchanting that are for current gears? or can anyone roughly explain to me what alkahests to use around what enchant levels or what the new alkahests are for? I only remember white alkahests before but now we have personal extensive and personal rare alkahests? I'm a bit lost. I watched in a video someone using tier 9 alkahest too, so I'm assuming there's others. Help please? I really don't want to waste stuff if it's meant to be used past certain enchant levels.

I'm trying to enchant dreadnaught gear btw x.x

  • t9 for t9 gear , mwa ex mwa for after masterwork
  • Regular alkahests are sold by merchant for tiers up to tier 10, works from +1 to +9
Personal extensive is basically Extensive alkahest that cannot be traded, higher effectiveness for enchanting from +1 to +9 than normal alkahest and higher than masterwork alkahest for +10 to +12
Personal rare is equal to Premium alkahest that gives the highest chance to enchant from 1 to +12 and higher enchant correction % after a failure.

alkahest tier 3,4... up to 10 are used for enchanting to +9. after that you can only use masterwork alkahest (white one), extensive or premium. personal extensive is non tradeable extensive alkahest, personal rare is non tradeable premium alkahest. masterwork alkahest has lowest chance for success and gives lowest enchanting advantage for next try. premium gives higher bonus for next try and extensive has higher chance for success. don't use any of those from 0 to 9. you can also use gear to enchant stuff 0-9. must be exactly the same piece of gear, with same name (metal gloves for metal gloves, etc). 0-4 it's 100% success rate, 5-9 it's 50%. and that would be it in general.
  • thank you all <3 really helpful
