suggestions for caster type classes.
I would really like to see caster classes (Priest, Mystic, Sorc, Archer) be able to move while attacking. Im not sure why this hasnt been implemented into these classes when the gunner is able to shoot and move at the same time. I feel like it would bring back some of that urgency when playing. would make the game more fast paced. i for one would main a sorc if this were implemented. any thoughts?

Second, just imagine a sorc who can move while casting fireblast in pvp, how broken is that? There's a reason why certain classes are not allowed to move while casting skills, and it's mostly due to mechanics.
I honestly dont see that as broken, as most classes have a movement skill, that has a fairly short cool-down. I find it very annoying that eme decided to root classes. I mean at LEAST let us move while using the auto attack. I would play many more classes if that were the case. I just think its dumb.
If you're talking about auto attack and auto attack only, then I can agree with you that it's kinda dumb to root you for that, but for high damage skills for certain classes, you are rooted simply because you are meant to find a good time to use that skill and not just spam it mindlessly. Being un-rooted just reduces the penalty of casting a high damage skill (rooting is a penalty since you are vulnerable during that period of time), therefore leading to less skill required to play certain classes like sorceror. It all comes down to the basic principle of risk vs reward if I had to find a simple phrase to describe the root mechanic.
I understand rooting high damage skills. that makes sense to me, but why the auto attack you know?. caster types would be much more fun if their auto attack didnt need to be rooted
PS: I think you mistook Fireblast as a low dmg skill in earlier posts
