Issues with Civil Unrest and Rally Quest

I would first like to start off with Civil Unrest and the issues I have seen arise within this event thus far.

Alt Guild Towers.
I have seen several guilds take advantage of this and place alt guild towers around their own tower to feed themselves tower kill wins. There is no chance to get over to these towers before they are already killed by the much larger guild who has placed it.

Another flaw I have seen within the game of Civil Unrest is that after a guilds tower is destroyed they should get kicked from Civil Unrest like Alliance. The mentality behind that an entire guild who has already lost their tower and get to stay within the event does not seem fair. The morale goes down because now your guilds tower gets zerged by people who's tower has already gone down and they have nothing to loose. My other suggestion to this is that once their towers go down they should not be able to destroy another guilds tower.

While Civil Unrest is happening another issue I have seen is that you can invite people from other guilds to your party and summon them. I do not think that should be allowed. I do not believe you should be able to have that capability within this content.

Rally Quests
An issue regarding the rally quests is simply the times. They should be random and not at the same time at 5 PST/8 EST A.M. It pretty much guarantees that a lot of people will never have a chance to enjoy that content. The times should sporadic and given to different guilds. I have seen the same guilds get the quest every morning at the same time because they can auto accept.

  • map is a problem as well. its much harder to attack to a tower inside the city, also theres simply nothing that prevents zerging with sheer numbers unlike alliance which had a 100 people each alliance limit. and no guild limit doesnt limit anything when pretty much every guild can participate.
  • I saw Amatersau do the same thing with 11 alt guild towers near their own to take down. In total they got 17 towers down.
  • Rally Quest should be removed, easy quest, big rewards for some individuals, for example in CH, one particular brawler mostly gets the IMP boxes and sells it most of the time and few, very few guilds gets the quest. I see no reason for it to stay, instead they needs to give more runs to harder dungeons and make it a bit more rewarding.

This is the only thing I disagree with. Using summon puts the skill on 30-40 min cd so let the healers do what they want. I think healers have a bad enough time as it is in CU so let's not make it worse okay.

Who cares about some arbitrary ranking system that gives no actual rewards? Guilds that didn't even put their tower down and had 2 kills were ranked over people that had a tower down for 60 minutes. Killing Alt towers doesn't contribute to that guild winning in anyway, it doesn't give them a buff or help them be the last tower standing. It is an arbitrary thing that gives them a bigger e-peen.

I think the second suggestion could be viable, but removing people that lose their tower is not an option. The content is already skewed towards large guilds with end-game gear. Small guilds shouldn't be punished for accepting anyone with a heartbeat.

This is definitely an issue that needs to be addressed! Waking up at 5AM for a chance at the rally quest is absurd. Enmasse just moved the time of Civil Unrest to "make it more convenient" to east coast players, how about doing the same for west coast players and the Rally Quest. Make it random between the hours of 8 AM PT and 8 PM PT. Unless it is made random, the same guilds are going to continuously get the rally quest (and I say this as a person that has repeatedly gotten the quest on FF).

  • Biggest problem with CU is that once ur tower is destroyed you can still fight, make it like alliance once ur tower is gone you are out
  • Having seen the new content in action now, I don't think there are any issues with CU as-is. Feed all you want because only #1 gets paid. It isn't really one guild getting paid either, since the alliance is paid out for services rendered by the winning guild and one can't win without a deep alliance. There is a slight problem in pulling all gold back in to the officers to pay out the alliance since it gets evenly distributed across the winning guild and there is a limit on how much can be pulled, but it isn't anything to fret about.

All guilds should remain to have a chance at BAMs or to get their revenge, which is fine. It makes the conclusion much more dramatic and puts even more politics into it.

All around great content now that it works.

In backgroud story, CU happend before argon war, Alliance was after. SO alliance system is more fair and advanced in nature XD.
And Zolyn is already a reaper when CU took place, Bluehole messed up the timeline.
Or maybe CU was an early concept of alliance just released later I am not sure, I feel like CU is just more wild, rough while alliance is more refined.
  • Historically CU makes sense because it happend in a Chaotic time, and It was Civil Unrest:velika
maybe sometimes we dated to even earlier event like Civil Unrest: Allemancia?

I dont agree with this only... Being able to invite ppl from other guild is a way to play politics in this battle.. and summon skill from healers is a MUST... its pure strategy.... CU would be a lil bit boring without summon tbh...

about the "kick players who doesnt have a tower anymore" , i read a suggestion on forum somewhere: longer respawn time.... might be something
