FF Is server vs Divine, No winner because the 4 of the last 5 towers are all in an alliance to keep running @ divines tower.

Any vids or sth showing how to effectively zerg with 4 different guilds? Even with 2 it's hard to avoid hitting/stunning/debuffing your allies.

If you were on FF for the recent CU they just ran in one raid after another and spaced themselves out from the other guilds so friendly fire wasn't much of a problem, Didn't down the tower of course but it made it near impossible to split people off to go attack the other 4 guilds towers.

  • If we had around 70 people like the very first day when CU was supposed to be released we would've had a really big chance . now we have like one whole raid less
  • But overall a lot of guilds just turtle the entire time since other guilds would just attack divine constantly. Maybe kill 1 idol tower or 2 but mostly they are just sitting for at least a hr
  • In short: You can't.
Zerg guilds will win and it's a fact. In the last FF CU a bunch of smaller guilds formed an alliance and tried to sneak up on Divine's tower. We had a full raid of desync members or even more with us but on the very first attack we got pubstomped and outnumbered. After that our little raid was basically scouts and fodder. It's also hard to attack with larger guilds because you'll also hurt them, especially with large aoes.
  • Purify won on MT as a medium/large sized guild. I think they had 1 to 2 raids online for cu.
  • What you can do as a small or medium Guild, is make an alliance with one of the bigger guilds. In the way that if your "alliance" wins, you get to share the massive pot. Depending on the size/amount of guildies participating you will get a fair share. Also, bear in mind, that even when your tower goes down, you can still help the alliance you joined in.
  • This sounds like a good start, thanks! But I'm afraid it may end up like 50 mins of base camping instead of 30 mins of base camping. I'm not sure if distance is any problem for large guilds, with like 20 healers (that can swap characters) summoning is almost unlimited, there is poison too in case of surprise attack.[/quote]

You can join a raid with another guild, and it disables the ability to attack them. We did this on CH server. This whole thing is still very unfair to medium or small guilds. Several of the big guilds just dominated at CU, they got all of the BAM kills plus killed all of the other's towers. We are a medium guild with 70 members, and I dont think we will participate again. It certainly was not fun for us to get repeatedly killed. There was one of the larger guilds camping at the base, and as soon as you tried to get off the dock, they instantly killed you. It came to a point where several of my guild gave up and left half way through. Its frustrating! CU is designed to be fair to the large guilds only, not made for small or medium guilds at all.

  • Again, 70 members is about what Purify has/had and they won on MT of all places. CU is basically a waste of time if you are not in an alliance and/or are a PvE guild. Most PvP guilds love CU just for the opportunity to PvP on such a large scale. If you don't enjoy it, don't do it, but don't think that guild size has anything to do with winning since a medium sized guild has already won.
  • Purify basicly got carried by MT & manifest (Manifest first because they diddn't destroy purify tower due to alliance and then MT( I mean , especially Amaterasu // Good Fight // Synergy // Solunar) because they zerged the supposed winner of this CU : manifest (Because they destroyed the towers of the opposite alliance , A/G/S/S). Purify are medium size I would say (Thought they are not geared/experienced as the top guilds are) & they won CU. It does mean if you do the good alliances , you can win CU or at least enjoy it. I was personally on a medium size guild & I enjoyed CU , I diddn't come for reward but for a good mass pvp experience & this is what I got.
