    Hey, guys,

    My guess is that some idiot somewhere decided to try another DDoS attack. This wouldn't surprise me, considering the exact same thing that several of you are describing happened yesterday.

    @Spacecats , @Treeshark , can you confirm or deny this?

    It's not from a DDoS attack.

    Also, I don't know if anyone else had this problem, but all the different flying mount's wings are the same pure non-detalied grey. Kind of looks like it didn't load, and I tried playing on max setting to correct this.

    Im getting "Something went wrong"also. Cant play.

    Not sure how you're missing those .dll files. They are part of the launcher and are installed when you install the game. These errors are typically the result of people deleting or modifying files that should be left alone.

    The easiest way to get these files back is to run the installer again: http://tera.enmasse.com/download

    What you might want to do is install to a new location, and then copy those .dll files to your old location. Then you won't have to go through the whole proces

    Ok, I was getting the "something went wrong"... Now i press the yellow play on the launcher, i can see the bluehole and enmasse intro, but after this the game just stays black. oO

    Ok, I just made use of the repair tool and its working again.
  • I had some of the same problems as everyone here i don't no if it will work for u but i fixed some issues by updating java and or reinstalling it. I hope this helps if not back to the drawing board and hope things are resolved soon.
  • omgosh seriously and im back to the same issues as yesterday after all the bs i went through and lack of response my issue has yet returned again ~sighs~ and in the same order as yesterday. Was able to play this time got to level 20 had to reboot my computer, came back and now the play light is greyed out again. :/ I am tired of reinstalling just to be able to play surely there has got to be something that will work. :'(
  • I have tried logging in after the server maintenance (I was playing fine before it besides the ping issue) and i'm unable to login at all now. There are multiple things that pop up and sometimes it goes through but reads "Unable to download manifest" when trying to update.

    Ok so I have narrowed down my problem to steam or at least i think i have. I did a clean boot once again as before and went to login directly from the launcher in my steam/steamapps/common folder and the play is lit up and have no problem but when i went and launched steam and tried to launch the game from steam suddenly my play button is greyed out. this really sucks for me cause i had my steam controller customized for tera and unless i can launch from steam i cant use my controller the way I want to. I can still use it but without the customization :/ So now that leaves me at a loss of what to do. Guess its keyboard and mouse for now.

  • I've been playing TERA off and on for a couple to a few years now. I've never had issues with the game client until I tried to return from another several month long break within the last week. I've tried re-installing and it won't even fully patch now. I've never had problems with the anti-virus interfering with my games, so it shouldn't even be an issue. I've tried every other part of the support suggestions.

    I can't even patch up to the current version. I get an Access Invalid error. This was after re-installing and patching files over from the main website. Before all this, I was getting the fatal client exception.

    I've been fighting with this game launcher for just over a week now. At a guess, a patch has broken something in my files. I'm about to the point where I'm just going to uninstall and walk away.

    Well, if you haven't already done so, I would definitely send in a support ticket and explain everything that's going on. When you do, also send your launcher.log file, which you can find in your TERA install folder. This file explains in detail which files are failing and would really help in narrowing down exactly where the problem is. Absent that log file, I'm not really sure what to suggest beyond the basics like run as administrator and disable anti-virus/anti-spyware, some of which you've already done.
