Ninja is kinda weak at lv65 ;(

I have a properly rolled +12 starfall set, i use crit scrolls, charms, nocts and i still feel like in PvE my damage is just too weak compared to other classes. I ran FINM and the brawler was dealing way more damage than me. Most of the skills that you use do only around 400-800k damage and during the enrage phase could pass a million barely. Overall i dont think is that overpowered, infact i think its the least overpowered new class that we seen in the game. I mean it takes like 3-4 minutes to do ghillieglade. I dont know if if i should maybe try to stack up more crit or power?
I feel like ninja is going to become more of a sustained type dps rather than pure burst damage dealer like gunners, brawlers and zerkers.

Maybe its a bit OP in PvP, after doing a few duels, i noticed that for many players avoiding chakra thrust with decoy jutsu is kinda easy. and its more about trying to out position them in a fight and use speed.

But what do you guys think, are you dissapointed with your ninja at the level cap? Do you think the DPS is balanced? or do you think their OP?

Ninja's strength is in the fact they reset their rotation extremely fast and their damage is fairly safe. Its correct in saying that their are sustained dps, since they dont have any downtime between their high damaging skills.

I personally am very satisfied with mine, even if its only in dread.

DPS and DPH are two different things.
Don't have chance to try it out or more like gear not even ready yet > <
But from what I experience now... Ninja meet my expectation~

Yeah kinda weak, tell me that when you hit 10 M on your big skill.

I dont think Fire Avalanche should count for anything being that its a 3 min DPS CD
  • Are you sure you're not just plain bad?

in DF, I was averaging decent crits in full +12 dread. My average crits were only 500-600k on the bread and butter skills without being fully geared or glyphed, but considering you hit multiple times with skills in less than a second, you can do a decent amount of dmg per second.

Also I hit a 6m on fire Avalanche. Which made me feel gud. And even if it is a 3min cd, there are times you can pop it more than once per boss fight so it's a nice lil damage boost.

I'm interested to see its full potential when geared/glyphed. I got 3/5 slaughter pieces last night and enchanted them and put them on so I'm wondering how it'll do now with upgraded wep.

Meanwhile zerkers thunder strikes are critting 11 M especially during enrage boss phase. Ninjas are basically a more fast paced version of warrior to me and require about intermediate level of skill to play properly.

i'd love to see that 11m crit screenshots. You very rarely hit 7m, let alone 11m LOL
  • Meanwhile ninjas I've seen are pulling 1.8mil dps on FINM last boss with solohealer the day after release. Pathetic class indeed.

I dont really want to change the topic of this thread, but when i said you would never hit 11m i was refering to the hardmode dungeon like fihm. Of course any noob can hit tons of dmg on trash dungeon bosses with cheesy mechanics that further increase dmg etc...

The best example i can recall is when i farm channelworks for vanguards and was able to crit like 10 million on Kerkion and thats when i had my +15 lucid zerker alt before this patch. I even sometimes steal aggro from geared brawlers when I get bunch of crits from cyclone.
This patch i was farming channelworks on my ninja and the amount of damage i was outputting in like 3-4 skills is almost how much i would have gotten from just a simple overcharge on my TS on my zerker.

    I showed him screenshots

Ninja isn't about big numbers, it's about small numbers but a lot of them and using combo attack to remove CD on main skills. That's why Ninja is top dps in KTERA. The can reduce CD on main skills very quickly which allows them to sustain dps. With the Fire Avalanche skill you will see big numbers when it crits but that's about it. It's all about quickly reducing CD with combo attack and sustaining dps.
