Enchanting and materials
I've been playing the game for a while but decided to come back I am level 65.
Now I have some Dreadnaught gear and I am not sure how decent it is, but I do believe if I enchant it a bit I will be set for more dungeons to get better gear..
But my main question is.. Where can I get Tier 8 Alkahest? Is it only through the Merchant/Trade Broker?
Or is there a place I can go hunt for some? I prefer to do that as well as make it more challenging.
If anyone could let me know, thank you!
Also.. I see a new item coming out "VM8" is that going to be the best PvP weapon to date now? Or anyway compared to the best items in PvP now?

A lot of people apparently also don't know that other Dreadnaught gear can be used to enchant. Behind the usual enchanting window there's an option to use spare Dreadnaught gear as enchanting fodder. This is also the reason why every lvl65 starting dungeon drops dreadnaught gear. Instead of dropping T8 or material able to dismantle, you directly can use the dropped Dreadnaught gear.
Ohh... I really really wish I'd known that. Now I vaguely remember being able to do that way back when it was still Pay-to-play...
I saw the tooltip on Dreadnaught gear say it gives 0 tier 8 feedstock when dismantled so I sold a lot of it to a merchant because I thought I couldn't use it for anything. ._.
Well, now I know. Glad I read this thread... I'm a recently returning player myself (brand new to 65 content mostly). Thanks for this insight.
