I love Tera, this is the best one yet, but has anyone played any other games like this that is also free?

    Blade and Soul: Its been out for a while and most people have left the game as its ultra grindy (Even more than TERA)
    Black Desert: Altho is not F2P, its also P2W when you're playing it, TONS of people were playing until the true P2W face showed up.

    To be completely truthful, there are no other games like Tera. I've been gaming since the Internet was text based and have not come across another like it where you can play to the top and never spend a dime.
    DCUO was close, but once you hit level 30 you also hit a pay wall. The player base accepted it like the free to play aspect was a sort of demo.
    Google "games like Tera" and you will find a big list of games NOT like Tera.
    If you do find one tho please do post something about it.

    I think what you should ask is not games similar to TERA but what makes you like Tera and go from there.

    If it's the combat i don't know any that is like Tera but there's that passive targeting system of blade and soul, riders of icarus and probably more.
    If it's the medieval fantasy without any regard for the combat, you have games like lineage 2.
    If it's the scenario when you're flying around and you want even more freedom to fly around you have aion.

    If it's all, don't look for other games just stay here xD

    umm... action games like Slade and Bowl? and Tinvictus? yep love them. Blade and Soul has good melee and bad ranged, and Terra has good ranged and bad melee. And Vindictus has good L-L-L-L-R-R mouse button combos that will drive you batty. But NO tab lock anywhere to be found. yeay.

    unlike bs games like gw2 that are mere WoW tab-lock games in disguise... bah!

    Unfortunately, there are no action combat mmos like TERA out there. We'll have to wait for Bluehole's next title, labeled "Project W." Hopefully it will be a formal sequel to TERA, with more expansion of the races and class customization (proper skill trees). They're hyping it up to be this new ground breaking mmo, but I'm concerned with Kakao being it's localization company. They just reek of that pay to win stench.

    If you like games like Monster Hunter though, a western company is developing a game called Dauntless which will be a co-up action rpg (pretty much an mmo). Don't know much on it, but here's their page.
