There should always be some kind of notifications for players who aren't currently in the game before maintenance occurs.

That never was a case here (comes from 2 years player on NA Tera) :)
Usually they do make a forum thread about it for not-regularly-scheduled (i.e. non-Tuesday) maintenance. In the old forum, there was a section for it, but on this forum they've sometimes put a sticky thread here and a post in news. But if it's urgent bug fixes that just arrived, they may not have known before people left the office last night.

I believe they removed Kyra. No more Kyra as they said on last one. She was a good one tho.
Well, they wiped out all existing catalysts, but it doesn't mean they won't do Kyra again. Just that, when they do, everyone should be starting at a blank slate.

They wiped for the glitch I think, since ppl could put it in broker and sell it lol new scripting I guess. I like Kyra, you gotta actually do things to get rewarded/
  • If Kyra's Potion Shack comes back, I'm gonna cry.
  • just be lucky they like to maintain the game. stop the complaining. 2 or 3 hours off of just standing still, isn't going to hurt anybody.
  • I love how some people like to be the trolls of the forum and knock others down who may have anything negative to say in regards to random maintenances. How dare they have an opinion!!! Seriously... what part are you not understanding? Tuesdays, maintenance is expected. When they make an announcement in the launcher and on forums for people to expect a different time and day, sure that's great. However, for those of us who hadn't logged in yet this morning, therefore we didn't see the pop up notice of a random maintenance... go the forum and no one had said a word for a little bit... naturally we are going to become slightly disgruntled about the failure to notify those who haven't been online yet this morning. So get off your high horse and stop being rude to those who tried to log in and were confused.
  • Thursday random maintenance is a regular thing done to add items or events to the game, in case you did not know. Anyone who played more than 2 months should know this.
And no they won't post any stupid stuff to inform you on the forum, such as this thread. In game notice is all you need.

You have to understand a lot of these people are told from early age to shut up and listen, know your place, to obey and not question those who may have more/do more. They are just sheep, don't pay much attention to them.

I usually have a much higher tolerance for those particular kind of people, however I've run into far too many rude people in and out of TERA recently that my bs meter is tapped out. As all things do, it'll pass. =)

Clearly you lack the skills necessary for reading and understanding... my defense stood with those who were NOT in game during the random notification and had no idea why all the servers were down. It has nothing to do with "how long you've played". I've been on and off TERA for a couple years now. So trying to pull that card doesn't work. Nice try though. =) Your input was humorous.
