Priest or Mystic?
So I made a priest a few days ago, and I've leveled it up to 45 so far. I'm enjoying playing a healer, but what I've noticed is that I've been attacking dungeon bosses a lot, like, more than I feel a healer should be. In fact, I've accidentally let a tank get to about 1/3rd heath before I even realized that they were low, only because I was attacking the boss at that time. Once I realized what I was doing, wondered if mystic would be more my playstyle. Would you guys agree? I wanted to get my priest to 65, but I was beginning to lose interest when I forced myself to not attack the bosses. I also know that both healers have a decent spot in parties at end game, and I know that a lot of people say "play what you enjoy". I enjoy playing a healer yes, but I don't want to bring my party down that much simply because I like playing a certain class. So should I make a mystic instead of a priest?

when picking a healer class the thing you want to consider more than anything is which playstyle you like more, and that's not very accurately gauged in the faceroll that is leveling dungeons. i recommend watching some endgame dungeon priest/mystic povs to get a feel for which one you might prefer. i don't know what tier of content you'll be wanting to run once you hit 65, but if you want to do the harder content you can check out sshm/uppers/lachelith's hard mode priest/mystic pov videos and that's a more accurate representation of healer gameplay in tera. i can send you some videos in a bit if you want.
I'm not sure what sort of play-style you're asking for but I wouldn't recommend striving for a play-style that was DPS-oriented especially since in next patch (which is in 3 days) they will be nerfing healer DPS which will be less viable in end-game content. I would say that Mystics can still provide some DPS outburst with Thrall of Wrath, but you would probably only ever use it once or twice in a whole fight.
You'll be healing a ton at 65 dgs. But try not to attack. Attacking draws aggo too. (Well so does healing, but hopefully you have a GOOD tank that knows how to do their job)
Priest:
Triple Nemesis, applies a 10% endurance debuff for 12 seconds
Plague of Exhaustion, removes some shields, buffs and necessary for certain boss mechanics
Energy Stars, gives the party within range attack speed and power.
Mystic:
Volley of Curses, applies a 9% endurance debuff for 21 seconds
Contagion, applies a 5% endurance debuff for 25 seconds or so
Corruption Ring, ability used to provide mana to those in range on the second use
Thralls, but they attack on their own after summoned
There are times where Priest/Mystic do use their dps abilities in dungeons, but usually it's not the boss but any adds/mobs. Sometimes they have really high crit resistance, or will be crit every hit (In SS they have both), which makes it easier for healers to kill them.
How much you heal also varies widely between the group, some groups require no heals at all, with others needing a heal every time they are off cool down.
