Hitting 65 before getting the 64 avatar weapon
Why does the avatar weapon vanished off of the side of your inventory if you hit 65 before you actually obtain it? it kind of leaves you in a messed up position of lacking any weapon to start with for beginning the 65 content, isn't this a bit of an oversight?

That being said, it's possible that it's just the UI that turns it off at max level, and that actually you can go out and kill things and the shards will still drop.
And yeah, you can't get the avatar version (doesn't have the crit bonus for enemies in range), but you can get a similar version from Vanguard Supply for 600 credits. So there is at least a "way out" if anyone is really needing a stop-gap weapon.
Doing the starter dungeon quest line (the same one that hands you Idoneal gear...) gives you feedstock. Around ~300-500 T8, I forget. I think it's 500.
if that's how much it gives it's still not enough to fully +12 a full set... but hey, it's something and it's once per character.
I guess I'll have 3000~5000 feedstock when I decide to do it.
It shouldnt take that much, Dread is easy to +. About 1200-1500 is plenty.
